@questionmark98 I think I used Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 for this, but if you are looking for a virtual machine host I suggest something more modern. I like VirtualBox and Microsoft Virtual PC is good. I avoid paying for a VM host because I can get quite a few for free, but things like VMWare do have extra features.
(I'm ComputerGeek000, but replying from my other account.)
@TechyWizard101 Yup. That's because I didn't enter a product key when installing. (This is my other YouTube account because I'm too lazy to sign out and in.)
I had like 3000 viruses on my PC before it drove me insane but luckily I have Kaspersky internet security 2012 and AVG and Microsoft esentials security 2011 and Panda cloud anti-virus,all of the 3000 viruses were removed hardly after 3 days of hard work even tho I had 4 STRONG ANTIVIRUSES fuuckit never try to download an un-known anti-virus from internet
@Anthestudios Before asking what song is on a video please at least read the first page of comments. I have been asked what song is on this video about 4 times already. It's called Symphony Extended from Musicshake. I did it from a YouTube AudioSwap.

@ComputerGeek000 Thanks, every time i ask for the music i feel like such a nub xD I watched this vid for over 10 times and it never gets boring... Awezom :D
DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! your computer wont recover for this type of playing like this dude is doing it will take you weeks perhaps months too fix it!
@Kevin198898 Even a computer infected with 10,000 viruses would at most take seconds to fix. Zero-pass format the hard drive and re-flash the BIOS. Done.

@BellaRenesemeeedward On Windows you can use the Windows Virtual PC. On Linux/Mac (and Windows) you can get VirtualBox. Both are free, but you need a copy of the OS you want to put in the VM. If you have an install disc for the OS you want then you can usually install without a product key and get a 30 day trial.
(I'm ComputerGeek000, but replying from my other account.)
@yerfdog1935 Yup. I would only do that on a real PC if I were going to wipe the whole hard drive before doing anything with it. I can't remember if I did Virtual Box or Microsoft Hyper-V.
@oldunited360 I've found Norton to slow down computer a lot (and it's expensive if you don't get it free from your ISP). I've found Microsoft Security Essentials to only slightly slow down computers and it catches more than many of the other ones I've seen. And it's free.
@FuIIOfFai I don't think the No Script add-on makes browsing much safer. It might block popups and a few other annoyances though. Ad blocking is good, that's where some malware hijacks websites to the fake antivirus websites (and ads are just plain annoying).
Usually having 2 antivirus programs will slow a computer down a lot more than the benefit it provides. I have heard Avast is good, but I have seen computers with purchased AVG with viruses that it didn't detect. I love Win 7 Ultimate:D
@benpreston123 I didn't think about that, but it's an interesting thought. Maybe when uninstalling it the virus would be removed from the settings and then when it gets reinstalled it wouldn't be reenabled.
@ComputerGeek000 That won't happen. Once you get a virus or any related object, it will embed itself in the major system files and try to block anything from accessing it by making the computer think it is a part of the essential system files or at least it's meant to be in there.
@TheWindowsChannel That is true, but uninstalling and reinstalling Internet Explorer might--not likely though--remove the corrupt file and install a fresh copy.
@ComputerGeek000 I don't believe so, only because you can never truely remove Microsoft Internet Explorer from your PC, unless you are running the downloadable version of Internet Explorer 4.01 on a Mac. So if you do use Add/Remove Windows Features, Internet Explorer files are still permanantely embedded in you operating system. When you do re-enable it, the same files will be used, but it will act as a new copy.
@TheWindowsChannel I think reinstalling Internet Explorer from the Add/Remove Windows Features would extract it from a cab file somewhere. I don't think a virus would modify a cab file for the people who reinstall IE, there are easier ways to remove viruses. But if the infected files are part of the TCP/IP DLL or another one like that then reinstalling IE would have no affect.
@xeotech1 Let me guess, you like Firefox? Why? IE9 is faster and blocks more malware than FF. That's facts, not opinions. I can't really argue about Chrome's speed because it is faster than IE9, but it still doesn't protect from viruses as well as IE.
@xeotech1 "Killbit is a security feature in web browsers based on Microsoft's Trident engine (such as Internet Explorer) and other ActiveX containers that respect the killbit (such as Microsoft Office)." Firefox does not use ActiveX controls, that's why some people say it's safer because dumb people need to download exe files and run them, not just install an ActiveX. ActiveX blocking does nothing in Firefox.
@ComputerGeek000 A flag in the Windows Registry identifies a CLSID as unsafe. The CLSID acts as a serial number for the software in question — a GUID that must exist for each piece of software that behaves as an ActiveX control. If an ActiveX container finds that the CLSID of a killbit entry matches the CLSID of the software, the software is blocked from running in the ActiveX container. If a vendor wants to release an updated version then they release it with a different CLSID.
@ComputerGeek000 Spybot Search and Destroy hosts file blocking, cookie blocking and activex blocking + Firefox + Adblock+ UAC set to maximum > IE9 + Windows Defender
@Matrixian21 You are saying that from experience with IE6,7, and 8, but you refuse to give credit to IE9 that is completely different than the pervious versions. If it was released with a different name not associated with Microsoft then nobody would ever complain except for about 2 or 3 similar interface options.
@iPodTechHelping Lol. It's called Symphony Extended from Musicshake. I did it from a YouTube AudioSwap, but it doesn't show the track name along with the artist for some reason.
@EBproduction1 As I already told Kirby23232323, none of the viruses were exploits of Internet Explorer, they were all manually downloaded and run or possibly Java exploits that work in every browser.
@xwxproductions1 Yup, that's what happens when Windows is installed without a product key. The 30 day evaluation will constantly display that and after that time it will get even more annoying.
@TOTORIALSFOROLDPEEPS That's actually there because I didn't enter a product key after installing. I don't know why it was only there after I rebooted. I think that message can be a sign of malware, but in this case it was just a missing product key.
@dadeXxReachxX12 It's actually Internet Explorer safe mode in the system tools. Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't actually think about that before you told me about it. :)
@bassrph1 For the first about 2 minutes it was closing every web page I would try to open. Around 6:00 I was closing the tabs myself because the malware was blocking access to websites with "malware" in their address.
