It's safe to say both Libs and Cons are woefully uninformed, it's just that the Cons don't care if they sound ignorant... they will be heard. Iran is diametrically opposed to al Qaida and could've been a great ally in Afghanistan if not for Dubya and his arrogant BS. And America is arming Saudi's instead of Israel now because Iraq poses a FAR greater threat to Saudi's than to Israel.

The world is tragically deficient in quality statesmen like Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. Instead we have Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Barak Obama, whose anti-Israeli sentiments have blocked arms shipments to Israel. Instead, Obama is giving stockpiles of weapons to the Arab states. It’s an inane strategy. If a poorly armed Israel is attacked, it will have to resort to using the ultimate weapon.

@davidguiden1 Me and my family are Iranian and I take great offence to what you have just said. Look at how barbaric most of the regimes are in the Middle East like Saudi Arabia for example. Just because Iran does what its people wants (which is to have a peaceful nuclear programme etc) the USA does not like it. Iran is not an American puppet regime and the people of Iran love Ahmadinejad. America has lost on this one, a war with Iran now would mean suicide for America and they know it.

a minority rose against them. the government tried to stop the protests, they couldn't until an even larger populace of the country took the street to support the government, the protesters had no choices, but gave up their protests. Seem like you don't know anything about Iran btw. Do you know that there are two major groups? the Shiites and the Sunnis.
