Im not subscribed but what would make me subscribe is less videos. i go to school and have a job, i dont have much time to watch videos. Post all your good videos with good gameplay with good commentary(not necessarily about the gameplay) and then i'l subscribe. post all of your other videos that you think arent your best piece of work in another channel.
Wings, I don't comment much so I think you can appreciate this. I've been watching cod videos since montages with music were the only things that existed (no commentary). When I first subbed to you on my other channel, it was because you were different, being that you used snipers like one would use it in real life. As I grew as a player, I unsubbed from you because I began to get better scores than you and other youtubers. I am subbed again to you now because of meaningful quality commentary.

Honestly, if you stopped with your really insightful, knowledgeable, and opinionated commentary, and exchanged it for something... I dunno, Whiteboy does, I'd unsub. Only because Whiteboy is Whiteboy and you are you. Wings, you're my favorite commentator because of your philosophical ideals and topics, that no other commentator brings up. I also like how you're very blunt. You don't give a shit that something's controversial or going to cause potential un-subbers. You just do it. And that's YOU.
Asking people to give you ideas should be a template, not dictate what you do. I ask what people want to watch and use it as a launching pad for other ideas.
You must understand that it's not really 'you' and your content. For me personally youtube commentators have hierarchy order in the sense I watch xjawz first, then whiteboy, woodysgamertag, seannanners, then you. When they don't upload content for awhile I resort to watching you because you make gay videos like these where you just complain about your life. Make videos that your'd want to watch personally. Your stuck in the past too much my friend.
To each his own. You play how you play. You have some tips I use but I also use some of Woody's tips that differ from yours. Just keep doing what you are doing. Put out the vids and let people decide what strategies are best for them. Don't let people dictate your style. The way you do things is what made you who you are today. I've been watching you for about a year or more and I feel one thing that's totally different now is that there's little to no advice as regards the game and how to obtain these good scores you get. Now it seems to be all about just general chat and while that is good because you have very interesting views on a large variety of topics, it doesn't suffice when it's not accompanied by advice, tips, spots etc. because people feel they are getting less benefit out of watching your videos now.
Cond... When you publicly kick people off your friends list for not having a good game....When you say on PKA "You don't care about your subs"..... When it becomes all about the money and you say "It's all about quantity and not quality" = The supreme reality.....
The problem now is you missed the boat, and now it's gone for good. You got views for cod now that cod is dying so will your views.... Time 2 step your game UP or be gone....Next time get views for your personalty and not a game. I have a lot more to say I will just leave it at that...

To be honest, Jordie, I started watching your videos long, long time ago. It was mainly because you had very useful tips, tricks and strategies for doing well, but now I just mainly try to see if there is any difference in your gameplay style and how you approach every map, game, players, etc. What I watch you now for is mainly the topics you discuss on a daily basis. They are very interesting and it would be awesome to converse with you while playing because some topics are mind-altering.
I just recently went back and watched some of your first commentaries during WaW and I have to say that those are some of the best i have heard from you.
keep doing what your doing wings the core 20 000 of us watch every video no matter the subject or game as we enjoy you as a person. It something awesome to be able to make people be excited to come home just to watch vid from work/school which for me and i would bet a lot of others is what you do daily with yours!
I think I like your old stuff better then your new stuff. The videos I like best are those where you talk about your gameplay (ex. akimbo 1887's vid on afghan). The knowledge you provide on the real guns, your analysis of the guns in the game and your ad libs are very entertaining. Honestly you lost credibility b/c of your REACTION to the syndicate 1v1. Not b/c of the loss itself. Maybe you need to take a break from Youtube. Maybe this routine is getting stale for you. Just be yourself man.
I'll be honest I liked you until you started banning people from your live stream for lol'ing at some fan boy who kept killing you. You are ALOT nicer on your videos than you are on your streams. Your true character showed that day and that is why I unsubbed and havent been watching your videos.
Have more fun with it. People like watching guys like SeaNanners and Chris Smoove because they actually enjoy making videos and game plays and it has nothing to do with view or money. It's the enthuasiasm they bring. Maybe it seems like you're just trying to pump out videos.

wings you used to give quite a few tips when mw2 was out and you stopped doing so and tbh you've changed dramatically since you've found love dude, simple as that, you've deffo changed for the better imho, so well done you and ur girl for changing you that way, you're happier and more care free as you have stated about the frivolity of mw3 and worrying about stats etc etc. like you have said the best vids you've done have been the more recent ones....

Wings, the reason why I subscribe to you is because of the great tactical advice you give to players of all abilities. People who watch your videos pick up easily repeatable tips that make them better players. You show us how to improve and you do it with interesting commentary too. I modelled my channel on what you do, it is so much better than some guys who just upload gameplay to massage their ego, whilst you do it to help people and because you enjoy it. Keep up the great stuff :)

You need to get organized in your videos. It's hard to follow sometimes, and it seems like you just throw together videos without a reason. That makes me want to unsubscribe because then I feel like your just trying to make money, which you are...but, if you're getting paid you should make your videos more professional.
I unsubbed rrom you 2 months ago cause i wasn't getting MW3. Got it for Christmas however and was doing really badly, so resubbed to try and get good again.
I would def unsub again (did it once for awile) if you go back to rage over bad teammates. Youre a very god k/d player so do tactic vids on how do dominate a Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirm or any other, non-objectiv, gamemodes. That I would def whatch. Happy new year, big boy :-)
I just feel as though sometimes you make videos without thinking about what you are going to say and you have those awkward seconds were there is nothing and you come up with doing something generic like a q&a or some kind of basic tips. Make videos that give me a reason to watch. FPSRussia for instance always has something planned and so does woody and every other commentator, with you I feel as though sometimes you think I have to make a commentary and go from there

I'm no director, but maybe you should script some of your videos. When you speak freely like this you kind of go off on a tangent which is difficult to follow. I don't think you should script all of them, just the ones you think will be popular. And not scripted the whole video, just enough to get your point across quickly and clearly then you can start to speak freely.
In my opinion, a good video these days means something that you relate to, laugh at, or think about. An example is like TmarT's interactive videos that teach you something while you are actively participating in analytical thinking.
I don't care about the video. I care about the topics, the personality, the person's ability to speak, and the professionalism. That said, I think what you need to do to improve is working on commentary. Don't freestyle your videos--but don't script them. Make an outline so you have a guide while talking. You stumble across topics too often. Also, work on your speech. You need some flow. Sometimes I think the video froze because of your long pauses. Those two things should help you tremendously.
I'll only unsub when I stop giving a shit about Call of Duty. Right now, I'm really digging your Skyrim let's play on your other channel, and anything Skyrim related. I was level 17 warrior and still felt weak, I watched your let's play and you inspired me to start over with a stealth character. I'm already level 17 again and I'm doing much better. I would unsubscribe if I thought you were bullshitting. One of the reasons I subscribed is because you say what you think is true, or what you think is funny, etc. If I thought you were saying things you thought weren't true, but you thought I wanted to hear, I'd be annoyed. If I wasn't subbed, I would sub... hm. I don't know. Historically, it's been a matter of the right place at the right time rather than a particular video type.

Jordie, I know I should be on twitter for this, but I think you will read all the comments, so I just want you to know that you should play Battlefield with your subs more and maybe post up a couple of bf3 coms. I used to be COD-exclusive, but I recently picked up bf3. I'm having more fun blowing shit up in that game than worrying about getting MOAB's in mw3. 500 flat score per minute (i had to say it).
I just like the regular, down to earth commentaries that aren't about the gameplay. Let's plays, vlogs, tips and tricks videos or whatever, don't really interest me.

I don't think many people are bothered about the gameplay, it's more of a psychological thing, they are more likely to click on a video that is COD but probably won't even concentrate on the gameplay
Your MW2 videos were really entertaining, your black ops videos where you for instance hold down a position with a specific class and get high kill streaks. For example every time i saw you with a dragunov it made me want to go and do that. The videos that i find interesting make me want to jump on and play. Try and stick to that. Not just sniping but guns with attachments that not many use. I like it when you are far a way from enemies in a head glitch picking them off with Assault Rifles.
i hardly see you do tip and trick vids its still the start of MW3 kinda hold off on the personal stuff until later in the year when the game is dry for that kinda stuff
I think you are right about the here say, Wings. I have been a subscriber since the MW2 era. You almost lost me for awhile back in 2009/10 with all your talk about how much you hated your subs, how you banned tons of people for commenting on your vids. I stuck around though, and I'm glad you did, you give great advice. I'm not here for the gameplay (though I prefer COD), I am here for the personality and occasional tip.
I think you hit it at the end. I watch your CoD videos for the topics. There are lots of other CoD commentators that put out good content and compete for my views when I'm in a CoD mood, but I'll check out other games through you before other guys or people I don't know on youtube. I'd actually be interested in seeing more gameplays from games other than CoD.
i personally don't watch COD youtube video's for the gameplay.... if i want to watch gameplay id play the game myself. Its the different topics that make me watch / listen. PKA is a perfect example... videos like that which talk about a load of random off-topic things get watched, although they get minimised. 95% of videos that commentate game footage, i just turn off / dont click.

The base of your channel was telling people how to do well on COD. And it worked (and still works)
Just make videos where you quickly give out tips on the game and how to get better, like the old days of MW2. It can be rushing or conservative, it doesn't really matter, as long as you stress that if they follow your guidance, they will improve as a player. THAT will get you growing more!
You should find some type of series you could regularly upload. Any form of a series in the Call of Duty genre will acquire views and subscribers. That being said, I enjoy your videos the most out of all the Youtubers. Don't change too much, just give your channel more organized load out.
I think you would grow if you invited more people to do dual comms.... You don't have to do it for small channels do it got channels about my size which will help you grow somewhat because I have subs that would sub back

To be honest, Jordie, I started watching your videos long, long time ago. It was mainly because you had very useful tips, tricks and strategies for doing well, but now I just mainly try to see if there is any difference in your gameplay style and how you approach every map, game, players, etc. What I watch you now for is mainly the topics you discuss on a daily basis. They are very interesting and it would be awesome to converse with you while playing because some topics are mind-altering.

I think I like your old stuff better then your new stuff. The videos I like best are those where you talk about your gameplay (ex. akimbo 1887's vid on afghan). The knowledge you provide on the real guns, your analysis of the guns in the game and your ad libs are very entertaining. Honestly you lost credibility b/c of your REACTION to the syndicate 1v1. Just do want you want to do. You seem to like getting good scores, and not rushing around, so do that. Most people don't care what you're playing, they just want to listen. So just do what makes you happy, and talk over it. As for me, I'm unsubscribing. I'm trying to slim down my sub box, and I have an insane amount of Call of Duty commentators. Wings, the reason why I subscribe to you is because of the great tactical advice you give to players of all abilities. People who watch your videos pick up easily repeatable tips that make them better players. You show us how to improve and you do it with interesting commentary too. I modelled my channel on what you do, it is so much better than some guys who just upload gameplay to massage their ego, whilst you do it to help people and because you enjoy it. I just feel as though sometimes you make videos without thinking about what you are going to say and you have those awkward seconds were there is nothing and you come up with doing something generic like a q&a or some kind of basic tips. Make videos that give me a reason to watch. FPSRussia for instance always has something planned and so does woody and every other commentator, with you I feel as though sometimes you think I have to make a commentary and go from there

I'm no director, but maybe you should script some of your videos. When you speak freely like this you kind of go off on a tangent which is difficult to follow. I don't think you should script all of them, just the ones you think will be popular. And not scripted the whole video, just enough to get your point across quickly and clearly then you can start to speak freely.

In my opinion, a good video these days means something that you relate to, laugh at, or think about. An example is like TmarT's interactive videos that teach you something while you are actively participating in analytical thinking.

I don't care about the video. I care about the topics, the personality, the person's ability to speak, and the professionalism. That said, I think what you need to do to improve is working on commentary. Don't freestyle your videos--but don't script them. Make an outline so you have a guide while talking. You stumble across topics too often. Also, work on your speech. You need some flow. Sometimes I think the video froze because of your long pauses. Those two things should help you tremendously.

One of the reasons I subscribed is because you say what you think is true, or what you think is funny, etc. If I thought you were saying things you thought weren't true, but you thought I wanted to hear, I'd be annoyed. If I wasn't subbed, I would sub... hm. I don't know. Historically, it's been a matter of the right place at the right time rather than a particular video type.

Your MW2 videos were really entertaining, your black ops videos where you for instance hold down a position with a specific class and get high kill streaks. For example every time i saw you with a dragunov it made me want to go and do that. The videos that i find interesting make me want to jump on and play. Try and stick to that. Not just sniping but guns with attachments that not many use. I like it when you are far a way from enemies in a head glitch picking them off with Assault Rifles.

I think you are right about the here say, Wings. I have been a subscriber since the MW2 era. You almost lost me for awhile back in 2009/10 with all your talk about how much you hated your subs, how you banned tons of people for commenting on your vids. i personally don't watch COD youtube video's for the gameplay.... if i want to watch gameplay id play the game myself. Its the different topics that make me watch / listen. PKA is a perfect example... videos like that which talk about a load of random off-topic things get watched, although they get minimised. 95% of videos that commentate game footage, i just turn off / dont click.

The base of your channel was telling people how to do well on COD. And it worked (and still works)
Just make videos where you quickly give out tips on the game and how to get better, like the old days of MW2. It can be rushing or conservative, it doesn't really matter, as long as you stress that if they follow your guidance, they will improve as a player. THAT will get you growing more!
DON'T:
Accidentally use the wrong mic.
Go silent during the vid at any point
Do one take (combine the takes)

You should find some type of series you could regularly upload. Any form of a series in the Call of Duty genre will acquire views and subscribers. That being said, I enjoy your videos the most out of all the Youtubers. Don't change too much, just give your channel more organized load out.
