@shugknight412 The busa tops out at 186, and if it's one of the un-restricted ones, you're lucky to hit 200 with a PC3/5, exhaust, and some small bolt on stuff. Maybe if he had a LOT of work i could see it, but i doubt it has enough power to just dust an r1. I've had 2 R1's, and i had a zx14(busa-slayer), and the big bike wasn't that much faster. Its noticeable, but not like the vid shows. I bet the r1 was moving at a good pace, but not topped out. And the busa ran up on him.

no but all other things being equal (i.e. they both have 4 cylinders) then 1300cc should be faster than 1000cc. it takes more displacement with less cylinders to make the same horsepower.

I've seen that vid. It doesn't top out at 220. The speedo has a pin that stops the needle from going any further. The RPM kept climbing which means the bike was still accelerating.

the r1 is indicating 190 which is about 175mph and the busa (which was race canned) was indicating 220mph which is prob just under 200mph

Sorry but the zx-12 is about as better built then the busa as a kids kite compared to the space shuttle. Don't believe me? Try changing the sparkplugs in a zx-12 without dropping the engine out of the frame. Not too mention a few problems with oil flow (or lack of to certain parts). The Zx-14 on the other hand though..vastly different story.
