Sounds very nice. I own that guitar too, It is quite cool for the price, I see that you changed the pickguard for a pearloid one (cool), did you change the tex mex pickups?
Thanks, I changed the pickguard because my plain white one had gold letters on it from my parents so I had to switch it since it was wearing out. I put it in a picture frame =)
And I didn't change the pickups. If only the bridge pickup can be more active... But the sound is still great now!
Hey!, I havent got a 60th aniversary but a fender roadhouse, with pearloid palte and texas special pickups! They rule man, good playing too, I can play this one as well!
What settings do you keep the amp on when using the Tonelab into it? I have th Ad30vt and never know what to put it on to let the Tonelab do most of the work.
Since this recording is all tonelab, my usual setting for the Vox amp is Black 2x12, max volume and gain because the gain knob is a secondary volume knob, and it doesn't distort. Treble, bass, and middle are in middle, bypass effect is on, so no effects from the amp are used.
Sounds good. I Have the exact same guitar with tex mex pick ups and the same valvtronix amp. What effects pedals are you using. I can't get that kinda sound outa my strat.
thankss, i'm not using any pedals, i'm using the pedal board "Vox Tonelab LE", using the "Big Lead" preset. The sound is directly from that tonelab, the amp is just for me to hear =)
I moved from my BB10 Watt amplifier to a,Vox Valvetronix AD15VT 15 Watt amp.But I still use both especialy when practacing.Encore Sunburst which I put a Roland,GK-2A GK pickup on it for my.Roland Boss WP-20G Wave Processor and OC-20G,Boss Poly Octave twin pedals whitch both use GK Effect.Along with a GK cable from Roland.Love guitars, keyboards, amps and even effects as well as other instruments.Me I play keyboard and guitar. Thanks for that lovely music.Who's Neil Zara?
NICE Job..I'm using the tonelab le also can you tell me what video software you use to get this uploaded. Have problems with windows movie maker won't upload. What did you use?
I used Cubase LE to record this through an audio interface (AUDIO KONTROL1), combined the sound with the video on my camera with Windows Movie Maker and made it into a wmv file.
WAnkstaBill!!! nice playing...alright, i play a Fender DLX american Strat (HSS) thru a VOX AD30VT. im lookin to buy a tonelab le. in your opinion, do the amp models between the tonelab and AD15VT sound the same (especially the fender and vox models cause i use those most.). I dont wanna spend money to get a sound i already have.
PS. what else can you tell me about your setup use to get sound on this video (computer software?)
Very cool! I like this song! I have also seen your Canon Rock covers! I like them both! The slower version helps me a lot to learn the Canon Rock song! Thank you so much for that!Your version at normal speed is also very awesome! You're amazing, I'm a fan of you!;) 5 stars for all your videos!
