  • typical aussie dialect. always have to have cunt in a video somewhere. good old boys speaking good old aussie speak.

  • I have a new found love for Aus soldiers. Had no idea these guys were this damn good. "Good on ya mates!"

  • Blessings to Australia. Thank you so much for contributions to keep the world a safer place.

  • I hate war!!!

  • How long we're they there???

  • @TheAsa2007 its funny how every fucking muslim talies are too scared to even go close to any of the occupying armies! instead they fire a crack shot and an RPG or mortar n then abandon positions and flee back into mountains/populated places. yet the professional armies ther will stay and fight yu fuckers off... who r the cowards now mate

  • @AustralianKing19 australia are infested with racist and your one of those!

  • @hotwater80 Intentional irony? If so, bravo sir.

  • @hotwater80 How would you know mate? Have you ever come to Australia and seen for yourself? Or do you just believe everything you see in the media?

  • @wattlebough yes iv been there for holiday, a bunch of friends who study, work and like me holiday experience and heard from them.sorry but i dunno why they are like that specially to other races.. (note, not all lads) oh.i forget iv classmate in school before australian white n also arab, they sorry for whypeople there are like that,..

  • @hotwater80 I think you'll find that Aussies are no more racist than the rest of the world. I know that racism is not only a problem among white people. It is a problem in every country. Surely you must know that a lot of people are racist towards white people also. Australia gives citizenship to people from every racial group on earth, and there are millions of people from other countries that live here. Not every country can say that. Salaam.

  • @wattlebough agree with you mate. w.salaam. :)

  • he flags the crap out of his buddy at 4:09...

  • is there any vid on youtube where you can have a quick glance at an enemy?

i know the taliban are hiding very well and dont fuckin reply "shitty cod lover, this is real war where your enemy is a mile away..." i know it by myself. but come on...jut one enemy :0

  • @SgtPaulJackson1912 They are not one mile away hahaha, most firefights on the ground are from 500 yards more or less.

  • ok who did this hit??? i've seen it 3 times and each time it says something different. It either says U.S. Special Forces, British SAS, and now Australian SASR....

  • @rambosperm They are australian accents 100%

  • @rambosperm It's 2cdo, an Australian commando regiment.

  • i thought the aussies used the aug o.O

  • @50TNCSA Steyrs are used in the regular infantry I think

  • @emilio1011987 commandos use more weapons than the regular's. but yes most of aus army uses the steyr F88S-A2 Austeyr and the Steyr F88-A1

  • @50TNCSA The regular army uses an australian licenced and built varient. The F88 Austeyr. Special forces get a bit more leniency in regards to their kit and most prefer to use the M4.

This is 2CDO , an Australian commando regiment.

  • @Thetepkai 1. Collateral damage and potentially killing innocent Afghan civilians. 2. Afghanistan is a a dynamic unconventional war with TIC's (Troops In Contact) at distances from a few meters to a few hundred meters away. 3. FT's are not very practical and I'm sure the public would call it inhumane these days. Not just talking outta my ass either, I'm a U.S.Army combat medic that was attached to the Infantry during my OEF VIII-IX (Afghanistan) deployment

  • 3:12 he pokes his head slightly from around the corner and gets shot at it hahah!!!!!!

  • Consider that the SOTG out there for Operation slipper has Both SASR and 2CDO personell on board, this video could very well have both regiments in it. They've worked together quite extensivley out there as the joint sotg.

  • lol@bodybuilding

  • Far all the fellow British fags wanting to know why it's titled SAS and these guys are Aussies, they're Aussie SAS. I don't think they've been featured on Call of Duty hence why some of you may be puzzled... -_-

  • @Bodybuildinq hahahhahahahahahahahahah legend!

  • Probably a stupid question.. but what happened to the flame thrower? Make clearing buildings shit load easyer.. Im assuming its some kind of war crime?

  • @Thetepkai

    yes, "illegal".

  • @Thetepkai there against human rights. its tourture just like napalm and clusterbombing none of them are allowed anymore it doesn't just kill the enemy it can both harm civies and causes alot of pain before death.

  • they are not SAS

  • They don't sound british, they have more of an Australian twang to their accents..hmm.idk

  • @Blackabrabraxx yeah there australian commandos apparently

  • have i seriously never seen a helicopter roll like that?? damn

  • whenever u are on patrol keep an eye on everywhere because they might do mw2 and 3 style on u

    yours sincerely marca733 : )

  • do u work for SAS or US Marines?

  • imagine how scared he was when he poked his fat little head out and saw them standing there

  • @aussiepride2005 I'm aware that 2CDO are above Rangers. Im also aware that 2CDO members have been training in the US with the Rangers.

  • @wattlebough no correction there not training with there training them.

  • @JTFII There are other reasons they won't have gone in. These boys are doing it how they were trained for different scenarios. You might like to tell us what those reasons are. JTF boy.

  • @wattlebough tell me the reasons "other reasons" why they didnt go in then, since your so good at talking shit about all your the stuff you claim to know. i dont know the reasons why the didnt go in but they are fully trained to do so! ELITE which you arent.as i look at this i see a job well done. i dont analyze shit i wouldnt know because i wasnt there! and im glad you know about the JTF2 because i aspire to climb the ranks and join the number one special forces team chosen for direct action.

  • i thought the aussies use the aug a3?

  • this is what i called close combat !!!

  • did you get the ear ... hahaha 3:23

  • Did they ever get him?

  • Comment removed

  • These are Australian special forces, not British. These are SASR forces not SAS. Please correct the title :)

But badass video, keep them coming, can't get enough heh

  • They're Australian, not British

  • wow it take a a team of SAS just to get ONE taliban out of a compound. Very effected method

  • @ponchott You dunno the story of why they went there. If they used special ops forces it was probably a HVT. not some average taliban militiaman

  • @Atony94 That would depend on what that guy was worth? If SF was in the AO then they go get him.

  • @ponchott They are not just gonna send one guy...idiot.

  • @MrAAAusername why send anyone at all ?... idiot

  • lefty!

  • Air strike, copy.

  • @TheAustralianArmy

Your Australian... are you not aware the troops in this footage are Aussie not British. And they are 2CDO not SASR.

  • Easy for all of us to judge, we've never been there. I cleared a room on Battlefield 3 but that's about it.

  • @Bodybuildinq there we go with the gay ass video game comments .

  • This is when the British SAS would be at their prime...room clearing. Flash bang in, followed by troopers, BANG BANG, job done

  • @TheAustralianArmy If you notice carefully, the buildings they are approaching have no windows, which means no natural light inside them, and it is bright outside. If they went in their eyes would take several seconds to adjust to the darkness. Enough time for the guy inside with a medium machine gun to wipe out a forced entry. Not one of these guys were wounded or killed, they did the right thing by not going in this time.

2CDO and SASR both use the M4.

  • @wattlebough Yeah, bit of a joke to be honest. Ahh I see. cheers

  • Comment removed

  • @wattlebough just so you know they didnt enter because the threat was right in front of them surrounded. if they wanted a dynamic entry they should have been equipped with flashlights and frags. theres no excuse not to do what you need to and saying theres no windows or natural light? you dipshit i saw one at 7:55 ! what kind of idiot wouldnt put windows in a place where theres no electricity and free lighting outside dumbshit

  • @wattlebough you're talking shit bro! if i carefully notice at 7:54 theres a fucking window shutup and stop talking like you know shit

  • @JTFII mate one window isn't gonna cut it. And it doesn't fckin matter coz they still ended up clearing them out and getting home safely. These guys know what they're doing

  • @itsjontyful one window isnt going to cut it? they train in the pitch black of night if they are elite forces. they cover everything a commando needs to learn in order for a successful operation! what makes you think daylight with a windows will stop their will? for reasons i dont know why they didnt go it but you saying they cant/wont? shutup because you clearly dont know anything

  • @JTFII There's a fundamental difference between training and surgically switching out your eyes with cat eyes (it actually wouldn't even be easier for cats). It's science, no amount of "training" will let someone see in a dark room directly after being in the bright sun. Likewise, if someone has been in a pitch black room for awhile, they won't be able to see anything upon walking outside.

Wikipedia "Adaptation (eye)" and read under "mechanisms".

Then read your last sentence over to yourself.

  • @WhoaFlyingNinjas i know about rods and cones. the room cant be that dark! people inside have to see what there doing! nobody is going to design and building so they cant see inside. they only reason the could go through the door was because of the tight squeeze. they couldnt stack up properly for a dynamic entry

  • @JTFII mate not sure where ur from but u didn't quite understand what i meant. First of all i know what i'm talking about. And you're right that they train in the dark but they have the time to adjust there eyesight to the darkness. But in this environment you can't simply go from that much light to pretty much pitch fucking black. You're not gonna see shit. They are elite and as i said before, they successfully completed the mission all because of there training

  • With due respect, these guys aren't SASR, they're a unit that is a cut below, the 2nd Commando Regiment (Australian Regular Army), which is a on par with the US 75th Ranger Regiment. 2CDO work in platoon sized attacks and raids, the SASR normally do 6 man patrol deep reconnaissance and sabotage.

  • @wattlebough I think your right, but why have they got m4's then?? All regular Army have the F88

  • @wattlebough Standard Australian army on par with US army Rangers? You're joking, right?

  • @league04 I think you've misunderstood my comment. I wrote that the 2nd Commando Regiment (2CDO) is on par with the 75th Rangers. 2CDO is an elite unit within the Australian Regular Army (the ARA, nick named "the Regs", is the professional full-time branch of the Australian Army, with about 31,000 regular troops; as opposed to the part-time "irregular" Army Reserve (ARes), which is similar to the US National Guard. Peace.

  • @wattlebough You're right, i did misunderstand. calling people that aren't regular, regular, is kind of confusing haha

  • @league04 Hehe, that's not the only thing that's "unique" about Australia. We have two main political parties, one is called the Labour Party (ALP), and the other is called the Liberal Party. The thing is, the Liberals are actually the conservatives, and the ALP is the progressive of the two. I had a heck of a time explaining that to a New Zealand tourist a few years ago :)

  • @league04 hahahaha rangers aren't dont even match standard aus army

  • @league04 aus soldiers are over there training your troops because the only thing you guys can do are friendly fire or kill civies. the american air force should be disbanded that would save alot of innocent lives

  • @TyleX2010 WTF? Hey ass hole, who the hell do you think was flying the Kiowas that transported these fine gentlemen to the LZ? And Hello? If it wasn't for the USAF, and Army choppers, there would be a hell of allot more casualties in this hell we call a war. Rule # 1... Never talk shit to your allies. You never know when you're gonna depend on them.

  • Comment removed

  • @CaleOwens but so many friendly fire deaths and friendly bombbardments happens in the us army

  • @CaleOwens you would thing by now they would of done something about it

  • @CaleOwens + 8 years in the army, respect

  • @wattlebough Rangers are not on par with 2CDO mate. 2CDO capabilities go far beyond that of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Your comments suggests you don't know shit about 2CDO and I suggest you keep them to yourself. Don't compare the 2CDO with US Rangers.

  • @aussiepride2005 You an expert on the regiment are you mate?

  • @wattlebough i'm pretty sure they had SASR here aswell? wasn't this the battle where an Aussie got awarded the VC?

  • @wattlebough

I wouldn't say they're a cut below. Our special forces share the same qualities, have demanding selection courses, with considerable common ground in subsequent training. It's just that on operations they might be inclined to perform different roles. However, the SASR can also be employed to perform raids, and commandos can also be employed to carry out reconnaissance.

  • what gun are you using ?

  • @TheArtillero99 those are m4's

  • Gotta love the Australian SAS

    Respect!!!

  • holy shit, I jumped out when I saw the fvcker peeking his head out of the shack

  • the one truth about war, if you own the air, you own the war

  • Interesting that the Blackhawk is black. It sure as hell isn't ours. Must be American 160th SOAR. Co-operation ftw :)

  • @warfighter929

How do I know its 2CDO (2nd Commando)? Or did i make another comment your replying too?

I know it's 2CDO because of the patch on the sleeve.

And I watched the live footage livestream back in '11.

  • By the way this isn't SASR, its 2nd Commando

  • @powmful no offense intended, jw how do you know?

  • @MrDeathstyle

    The Australians dont use SA-80's

  • @powmful Jesus get your eyes checked, they're all M4's. In your defence though, the scope on the camera soldier's M4 is the same as the one the Brits get on their L85's.

  • @rockthistown2009

    SASR is the Australian SAS

    Special Air Service Regiment

  • These guys are the most elite special forces in the world so none of u guys should be doubting how they fight there battles

  • u can see the fuckin AK pointing around the corner

  • special air sevice regiment

  • Are they SAS Reserve ??

  • @rockthistown2009 sasr are the Australian SAS I think

  • throw a flash bang!!!!

  • i really dont think those guys were any elite force. i was a pfc in afghanistan and i had better toys then they did. peq7? outdated. 203 grenade launcher? outdated. i worked with sf. they dont even use m4s.

  • @blacktime If what the title says is true then these blokes are SASR and are one of the most elite special forces in the world. Reason being is the Punishing training that they have to do. In fact they've lost more lives in training then they have in combat. They might not have all the fancy equipment like say, Delat Force but that's just because the SASR is Australian and Australia just doesn't have the money for all that equipment.

  • He's NOT sweeping his on man, the SASR don't sweep their own guys. They are one of the most well trained units in the world. He is looking over the other guy, the cameras perspective made it look like he's sweeping his head.

  • @chrisgladstone18 because they are in combat!!!

  • why do special forces have the most advanced weaponary in the world but cant use a decent camera

  • mattysoldier killed Bin Laden.

  • @KingOfBattle119 typical yank u think bin laden was behind it all!!!!!

  • @mattysoldier No I don't. But you know the truth, you're a badass dude.

  • @KingOfBattle119 righto buddy

  • Holy shit in the beginning, guy got shot! Shit, the taliban have been practising!

  • @MrCamoflarge who got shot?

  • These guys are not SASR they are Commandos from 2CDO

  • @ausman28 word up brother

  • This was some kind of special op group.

  • was that a body after he left the bushes?

  • 4:10 muzzled the sh!t out of his own guy. Crazy though. Thanks for your service.

  • I love M203s

  • top video, absolutely epic footage! Big up all the troops out there.

UK, US, British, Australian & European, Brothers in arms!

  • "fuck it. Feel free to grenade it" haha 3:37

  • Comment removed

  • @bobthefreakincop some operators know how many shots they have left in their magazine it takes some years to learn to keep count.

  • he is sweeping the hell out of his own man

  • @etiennekai There is a saying that during combat a soldiers training washes out his ears and he rely's on instinct

  • @etiennekai Yeah, that really bothered me too.

  • @etiennekai whats sweeping????

  • blow up the house, Army style : )

  • Just blow the fucking building up

  • @j69chevelle Agreed, but they have intel we don't on the current situation/place

  • Put a grenade in it already.

  • Are the armed forces taught not to reload until there clip is empty? if anyone knows plz reply to this comment.

  • @bobthefreakincop Tactical Reload: Retain partially expended magazine, reload fresh magazine. Must have TIME and OPPORTUNITY.

Combat Reload: Dry. Reload as quick as humanly possible.

  • Why would you blow by rooms you haven't cleared and put all of your guys into a choke point all covering one door.... wow.

  • @j69chevelle cause they are SF and do whatever the fuck they want. haha

  • @pik0719 I believe they are SAS or Aussie SF... not the same as ODA.

  • @j69chevelle yeah they are aussie SF

  • @j69chevelle they are aussie sas, similar to british and nz sas

  • @paulturton27 not SASR was 2 COMMANDO

  • @mattysoldier why is the clip named sasr then

  • @paulturton27 its not sasr its 2 commando, mates were on this gig

  • Comment removed

  • @mrbaywatch21 ye cheers mate. I have to one or two war zones. So there's no other deserts anywhere in the world?

  • @7154spr that guy is a jackass... obviosly there was a dude about to turn the corner... and where the fuck would they be training in a desert that looks so much like the korengal... go get educated you jack fuck, this happens... taliban dont just get killed by bombs or from far away either

  • They've got BFAs attached. This is training. Are you lot stupid if you think this is real?

  • @7154spr naw man flash suppressors

  • @7154spr lol you think a suppressor is a BFA...

  • @7154spr bfa's? are you stupid did you not see the gold top getting loaded into the spout at 1:29 ..............not training buddy had mates on this op and seen the full video.not to mention a mate did get shot that u dont see right at the start.............

  • War isn't like COD or MOH..sometimes u won't c ur enemies..that's y in Nam some of the unit's called them selves Shadow hunters cause they hunted "shadow's"..now I'm not saying that u won't c them or run into them but cqc is really risky and is avoided at almost all cost, cause in real life..all is takes in one bullet

  • now is his vids fake cuz even in cqb no one gets shot

  • HA! The SAS is using M4s instead of the SA80s.

  • @MrDeathstyle This is the australian detachment of the SAS no the British the SASR.

  • @1BALLMEDIA You're right!!!!

Correction: HA! The SAS is using M4s instead of Steyer AUGs.

  • @MrDeathstyle

    no, your wrong aswell

Correction: HA! The SASR is using M4's instead of their F88 AUSTYER

(SASR is the Australian version of the British SAS and the F88 AUSTYER is the Australian version of the Austrian AUG Styer) now its all good :)

  • @1BALLMEDIA These are Aussie commandos dude

  • i reckon he got him aye, when he poked his head out at 3:11

  • which pixeI was the taIiban?

  • Comment removed

  • @navyteccs Im sorry but the camera shy taliban is unavailable to comment on his poor performance.

  • @JordanGuitar11 the only way those boys get to play with guns so there no fucjen around lol jjk

  • hey! the guy @00:30 looks like Ghost of MW3! :D

  • I know you guys don't need to hear advice from civilians, but you should breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Cause when you think about it all the sand is going in your lungs and that's what nose hairs are for 25 percent of lung deaths or deseases are caused by sand or other small particle.s. Just trying to help out anyway i can come home soon.
