Amazing.. I hope I'll be able to self-teach myself to play the harp, too... maybe someday. Right now the only thing I can play is the tin whistle.

I think the sound you get out of the harp is more important than hand positions. I think it is only a problem if you are potentially damaging yourself or it is interfering with the ability to play. In your case it isn't so I wouldn't worry. Lovely playing.
