i was going to write a somewhat inapropriate comment but i took a breathe and calmed down. i think everyone should let eachother beleive in what they want....but if you believe that women are evil (as it sneakily says in the bible written by A men) then you are one crazy person.....i was very hurt by the bibles words . and so was society.

Now I am almost certain that if Adam would have said "I am sorry God, I REPENT" then God would have forgiven them. But instead Adam pointed the finger and blamed EVE. and instead of EVE saying Sorry, she blamed the snake. Instead of accepting responsibility, they played the blame game, and this was a disgrace is the sight of God, so, he had them leave .. Hope this brings understanding

Oh, and also, I was taught not to take the bible literally. The bible is not a book to look for scientific or historical truths. So, no, I do not believe that the earth was made in 7 days, or that Jonah was really swallowed by a whale, or that the whole earth was covered in water for 40 days and 40 nights, and Noah could fit all the animal species into one boat. DO NOT TAKE THE BIBLE LITERALLY. THIS IS CALLED FUNDAMENTALISM AND THE CATHOLIC CHURCH DENIES IT! Please do not think these things!!

@juliathegooglia Not from dirt. Archebacteria was all of life's most recent common ancestor, but it didn't start in the dirt but in the water. Furthermore, the missing link is a misconception. Evolution is such a gradual process that every generation is an intermediary species from the most recent common ancestor. All life, including humans, are still evolving. We have found skeletons that show change over time but there will always be another missing link in between species of the past.

The video says that God caused the great flood to 'start over' and yet it is noted that the sinful nature of man persisted after the flood, so God's flood effort was a pointless exercise and He knew this as He has complete knowledge of what will happen.

For the record Genesis is not scientific but a theological, spiritual & mystical. reflection of the origin of all things & mans fall from grace. The Earth is much older than the Bible indicates and everything we see is contrary to the claims made in Genesis. There is not enough water for the flood to be possible nor enough space on any boat to carry two of every species of organism, not that they would survive to propagate. You need much more than two of every species to survive.

If would be slightly less bad to say that everyone was headed for a hades unless you did stuff like murder & rape but surely better to say we don't know, probably everyone ceases to exist. Try reading about the Ur- Nammu code the 1760 Hammurabi Code, see the sense of morality in the 1500 BCE Negative confession of Egyptian papyrus of Ani. Try reading science and you will see that the Bible is mostly myth, fantasy, fiction.

We were too young to know what to do with that knowledge .. but our ancestors disobeyed and now there is sin in the world.. rape, war, murder etc.. But the good news is we don't have to sin .. We can be good in the presence of Almighty God and not sin. We can accept his Son Jesus Christs sacrifice on the cross. Sinners cannot enter Heaven because Heaven is perfect, and sin is gross .. @IMDESTROYEROFWORLDS He loves me and loves u, because we are made in his image. If you read the bible it says that he loves all. believe me i use to think the same way as u. I was against the bible . But i also had never read it. It is no childish thing.

It has the hardest lessons in life in there.
