  • Nice biretta, do you ever wear a saturno?

  • Thats Awsome

  • watch?v=pkLpnlnEcKc

  • i love your vids! haha. Awesome Catholic Youtube Videos Pursuit Mission = Accomplished.

  • What's that tune father. It starts really good :)

  • God bless you Padre.. Please, you should make more videos... more Ipod videos.. teaching our faith so young and old, can identify and learn HIS teachings. Thank you again.

  • How silly and sacrilegious - if indeed you consider a "priest" a hallowed person. Your attempt at levity doesn't make you more acceptable.

  • @gandmcox Ligfhten up, Francis.

  • WIN

  • Love it.....keep on dancin' Padre

  • You dance better than many people I know who just jump up and down like a bug bit them. But I certainly appreciate the fact that you confess, and make me able to receive Jesus Christ daily in my heart.

  • These videos have had me laughing non stop XD good job man

  • Onya Father. There needs to be more sense of humour about our church. We know we have it, but the zealots the media like to portray are all that the mainstream get to know about us.

I was only told yesterday how "remarkably well informed I am FOR A CATHOLIC". That was meant to be a compliment. But it just goes to show how we are perceived by the mainstream.

  • @janefeast Well if Catholics wouldn't be so afraid of taking a bite out of the forbidden apple, perhaps the mainstream would stop showing concern when you let good fruit rot away on the shelf.

  • zal co to ma byc

  • Ah...there's nothing like a personable priest...

  • This is so funny! I love it.

  • @ebayboy1234

Me, too. I think it is awesome seeing the human side of priests outside of religious stereotyping. I had no idea that there are comedian priests out there. What are we going to hear of next-priests playing video games? LOL-Nothing surprises me anymore. Laura :-)

  • @lauraabarlow

Actually I know a priest who lovs video games and Star Wars. He is good friends with my parents and when the third star wars movie came out the priest wore a darth vader costume, mask included, to the movie.

  • @ebayboy1234

Great to see the human side of priests-didn't know that they had a comical side to their personalities. What is next-priests playing video games? LOL Laura :-)

  • @lauraabarlow It really doesn't seem like it but priests do have, from what I hear, balanced lives. they have hobbies like baseball and video games and even favorite TV shows (that are wholesome but not necessarily religion related, like History Channels modern marvels)

  • @lauraabarlow I know a priest that plays video games! He also loves Star Wars.

  • Awesome-I've written six days ago and came to the conclusion that you, Father made and danced in this video. Wow-I never knew that priests can dance, oh well-after spending twelve yrs in catholic schools and 22 yrs in the air force, I am still learning-laura :)

  • @lauraabarlow

These past 6 days of contemplating the question, were not spent in vain, as I can assure you indeed, that this is me doing the silly dancing. :-)

  • Is this dude a real priest? I find it kind of hard to imagine them jamming like that:) Laura-Summerville, SC

  • Did you make all these? Wow! I AM impressed!

Br William OFM (I am a real Franciscan brother and I also wear our brown habit every day....)

  • Awesome video, loved the dancing and if it makes you feel better its probably better than me.

Im going to confessino saturday :D I cant wait. I always love Confession its such a oppertunity to lay your sin down and walk forward with the Lord.

  • What's title of this song?

This short film is really popular. LC Paul from Poland showed me it.

  • Just found your videos, and out of the four I've seen so far, I love this one the best!

  • lolwut?

  • "If the spirit of the LORD is within your soul u will dance like David danced" David danced for God y cant priest?

  • 'Leave the apples be'

    Haha, very funny ^^

  • Comment removed

  • Well my friend. That is not quite correct. I am a priest and I wear the cassock every single day - as do many others. As canon law suggests it is one (and a quite regular one) of the forms the priest should dress.

  • „Ksiądz może nie potrafi tańczyć, ale może odpuszczać grzechy (. J 20, 23)

  • catholic priests do dress like that, orthodox too, but they don't wear a belt

  • ehhh, some do. but not all.

Also, "...but he can absolve you from sin"

false. The priest is standing in personae christi. He cannot absolve sins, but he can be the instrument through which sins are absolved...

    just had to clarify. :)

  • I hope you realise...most priests dont dress like that...

  • sadly you're right.

  • Oh for the good ol' days, when the Mass was in Latin *sigh*

  • Yeah.....

  • @theRod1995

Man... Are you a catholic or not... All of prists have to wear this clothes, but sometimes they can wear for example sport clothes or swimming pants.

  • @Mizajek I am a Catholic, and I Priests wear the dog colar and a black suit but not the hat...

  • @theRod1995 Only the good ones.

  • @theRod1995

    Mine does!!

  • It is no wonder they think of priest as weird. This just adds gasoline to the already burning fire there is about priests

  • Nothing wrong with being weird. Most of us are "weird" in one way or another.

  • Priest are not to be dancing like that period. The saints of the past would have condemned such actions.

  • I have not read everything every saint has written, but I haven't seen anything against dancing, certainly not silly dance that isn't provoking someone's lust.

I wonder what you would think of the video of a group of young nuns sledding and playing in snow!

  • I am not against playing in the snow but unfortunately you can't understand it- understand what early church fathers and saints like Vianney and Pio have said. If you wish to make an excuse, then that will be on you. What was wrong in the past, is still wrong now.

  • How can I understand if no one has ever taught me? I have done pretty in-depth reading of the Faith in the last year, however with two millenia of material to cover it is easy to miss something. I am from Missouri; so show me?

  • In my experience, it is always the more orthodox priests like this one who have a sense of humor.

As other have mentioned, this kind of dance tempts no one to sin, and encourages the practice of holy confession.

Do not be so easily angered, for you give the devil a foothold.

  • 1) The more orthodox priests are the ones who have been canonized because they have shown a life of virtue, a life in imitation of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. With that being said, let me write down what St. Pio of Piertelcina said about dancing:

"The Christian is to avoid sin, and warned his penitents not be the cause of temptation for others, EVEN if they had no clear or determined intention to cause harm. A testimony clearly illustrates Padre Pio's thought. ...

  • 2)"Lucietta use to say about her dancing, 'I loved dancing. I was a dragonfly. Dancing with a man or woman, twisting or jumping around a chair, it was all the same to me. Naturally this took place at home with neighbors or relatives and my parents watching what was going on. However, the Saint did not approve.' One day in the Confession, after confessing I had danced and the Saint said: 'If you dance again, I'll send you away.' After a while, there was a wedding and I against my will...

  • 3) ...found myself dancing. For fear that the Padre would throw me out as I approached the confessional I went to confess to another priest, who didn't make any comment about my dancing and asked if there was anything else. As I had nothing else to say he gave me absolution I went home but I was not at peace. The day after I went to confess to the Padre who at the sound of my voice said 'Well then have you changed your confession day?' She continue to say 'Father I assure you...

  • 4)...that when I dance I don't think about anything, I'm just careful not to step on the toes of whoever is dancing with me!" Padre Pio said "you can be sure of your feelings but not those of others. I don't condemn dancing as such, but I believe there is always the danger of sin and the Holy Spirit says: "He who puts himself in danger, perishes in it." St. John Vianney has also condemned dancing, and one should not forget that dancing back in those days would be considered modest.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol! I think he can dance quite well though... just a bit entertaining in the process:)

  • HAHAHA!!!

  • exactly

  • Fr Dom OP can dance..lol

  • Pomysł świetny, ale reklamówkę można dopracować.

  • This and the nun commercial make me laugh over and over and over again. AWESOME Job Father!

  • I would have to say the star Wars one was the best!

  • I dont think I've seen it... Now I must go and find it!

  • just look for the picture that matches his profile image :) listen, if you like star Wars I have a funny video a few seminarians from St. Louis made, want me to send it to you?

  • Do it! Thank you!

  • Your right the star wars one is awesome, but ya totally send that video to me!

  • would love to!

  • Great video Father!

  • Very ironic... BeOS was being considered as the successor to Apple's original Mac OS a few years back. At the end of your video, it says "Leave the apples be"; which I interpreted as, "Leave the Apples, Be."

But we all know that BeOS was ultimately a futile attempt at changing the market, which was happy with Mac OS (now version X.x) along with Windows and flavors of Linux.

  • "Leave the apples be"

    yuppers!

  • Crimshaw times 2 times 4 times 9 times 2 times 5 times 2 times infitnity.... do do do do do infinitiy... do do do do do infinity

  • Lol, It looks like how I dance on a daily basis! Oh man, this was absolutely fantastic. Being catholic is great! :D

  • i second that.. great work..

    God Bless

  • I agree!

  • @clyneandras you don't have to be catholic to dance... i'm really beginning to believe that the only reason catholics are catholics is the lifestyle associated, which can easily be lived out without catholicism.

  • @VaginosaurusRex Yeah, I know. Lol. I didn't mean to say it like dancing is associated with being Catholic, that was a typo. :O

And I agree with you, you don't have to be catholic to live the lifestyle. All it takes is faith. :)

  • @clyneandras Yes it is!!!

  • you are amazing, absolutly sent from God. keep up the good work!!

  • Cute video.

  • great video!

  • YESSSS!!!!

  • lol. Nice pun.

  • Thats how I dance :( ......

  • lmao

  • what does imao stand for??

  • LMAO = laughing my ass off

  • thanks, the "L" looked like an "i". I got confused.

  • Oh, you saw this too? Heh, funney. Wonder where he got pries (silhouette) dancing ;-)

  • maybe, it's him :P

  • sad but true - this is me :-)

  • not sad, Father: this vid is ace ;)

  • Don't feel bad father: I dance worse than you!

  • I am finding you all over the place. We must have a common interest!

  • Me too, don't feel bad.

  • Good idea...

    Splendid clip!

  • Great video...how about oranges:)

  • LOL. Instant Favorite. BTW, I think it's funnier with "Leave the apples be" which is a fun take on the Mac Apple being a symbol of sin/temptation.

  • until you said that, I never got that, I just laughed at it being unbitten. butha, its funnier now =D

  • He might not know how to dance, but he sure was getting down!

  • hahaha hilarious

  • lol

    super gemacht :D

  • Actually in the downloadable version (whenever I get around to provide these clips...yes I will try and hurry) I will change the last tag line with the Apple (w/o a bite) to "Restore your innocence."
