It would probably be best to call us at 800-877-7290 to give us more details on the problem to give you the right prescription for your specific problem.
Hi, I am a little confused, as I have read many times that you should never use anything on carpenter ants that lets them know you are poisoning them unless you can actually get at the nest itself with a direct hit...so wouldn't Drione alert the colony to start reproducing? Thanks, Cat
If you go to our website (the one listed in the video) and click on carpenter ants and read the article, you'll learn that what you think is right most of the time. But if you know where the nest is, treating it with Drione is very effective. In fact, we have another video showing an actual application as it's done. You'll quickly see in the video the advantage of using Drione if you have been able to track the ants to their nest and can do a direct application like we show.
Thanks so much! I don't know exactly where the nests are as my entire greenhouse and shed have multiple sites where the darned critters come out so I spend my time dusting them with diatomaceous earth with my little duster...but darned, it is like a horror movie...they just keep coming! Your videos are really informative..thanks! Cat

I have used Drione mixed 50/50 with Borid (to cut down on costs) since 1992. Baits are for lazy techs.
