dr jekyl and mr. hyde - I dont really see it as horror - more like reality at least the evil part of reality because some ppl have multiple personalities (that medical disorder) so it's entirely possible to become a "psychopath" .. especially if the alternatives are possible.

I don't see how they can just sit on that piece of wood in the middle of the ocean when their boat just got crushed by Moby Dick. I don't know about anyone else but I'd be freaking out even if I felt a bit safer on the wood. Then again I'd also be freaking out that I was on that piece of wood in the middle of an ocean especially the part where you have no idea how deep it is. Ok I'm not a little kid anymore but still when I'm in water I prefer to be able to see the ground under all that water.

Hey, did the creators of the movie used the sun opening from "The Lion King?" 4:19 to 4:26.

Hmm. The two sure do look a lot alike. Then again, the two movies came out the same year. The Lion King came out a only few months before the Pagemaster, so the makers of the Pagemaster couldn't have copied it, as animated movies take a long time to do, and not just a couple of months. They started producing the movie in 1993, so the animation must have started in 1993 after they got the beginning of the film right.

I literally just finished reading Moby Dick, and I'm so serious when I say this movie perfectly portrayed how f'kin crazy Ahab was. Even if it was only for a couple of minutes. lol
