  • @TheMightyGORT I'm on it. ;) Cuz mah name ish Christine. (No, really.....it is.)

  • Take a look at the camaro. it has no motor under the hood. for some morons its a charger.

  • I want one of those.

  • thre best and sexiest 50 rockn roll car its only awesome and I lOVE HER

  • Yeah, she was a mean bit*h. But I can understand how Arnie felt. I'd wanna love her 'til death did us part, too. Christine pwns practically every other movie car out there.

('cept maybe Mad Max's Pursuit Special...)

  • They should make another movie where she comes back from the junk yard to reap her revenge.

  • I was named after this car :)

  • Comment removed

  • LIKE A LOT, she should me mine,,, we should love eatch other,,

  • Yeah who ever thinks Christine needs to be changed to a different make model, color or year is an idiot, Christine will forever be a 58 Plymouth Fury, They do however need to make a sequel to the first one where she comes back and kills more shitters that is

  • Yeah who ever thinks Christine needs to be changed to a different make model, color or year is an idiot, Christine will forever be a 58 Plymouth Fury, They do however need to make a sequel to the first one where she comes back and kills more

  • 18 shitters should die for hating this!

  • Earl Schieb hates Christine.

  • (Oo)===v===(oO)

  • @CrumpKid2k THAT's GENIUS <3

  • @CrumpKid2k (Oo)===v===(oO)

  • no,she's a 58

  • Scratch my earlier comment, it was a typo. I meant a '57 :-/

  • I'm not surprised Hollywood would try and do a remake of Christine; if studios can smell money, they will invest. However, if they were to do it again, use Steven King's book as a blueprint, and DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES change the car. It would be akin to using a Ford Mustang in place of an Australian XB Ford Falcon coupe; nice car, definitely the wrong fit. The book was more disturbing, But John Carpenter admitted he wanted Christine to be the star, not Roland Le Bay's ghost

  • @Mechknight73 I meant using an Ford Mustang instead of an XB Falcon in a Mad Max remake. Only an ignorant cretin would use anything other then a '58 Fury for a remake of Christine

  • At 2:29 the silver car is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro?

  • @Batner112 yeah 67 or 68

  • A remake could be a good idea if they included some parts from the book that they left out in the original film. However, Christine was, is, and always will be, a '58 Fury. Do NOT fuck with that.

  • @hank3rox I know yeah and don't FUCK with the Fury. Best car ever. I have one i bought on eBay for $300 it was a replica someone restored and driven. Very good and reliable car never a gas guzzler and btw its left hand drive and i'm in Australia! I think 58 furys should be remade in a christine edition Like they were in 1958 but in a christine edition.

  • This movie does not need to be remade. It is great the way it is.

  • comooo se yama el temaaaa

  • @lokiyo35 Bad To The Bone-ZZTOP

  • @lokiyo35

Canción se llama, George Thorogood "Bad To The Bone"

  • Shelltacos Umm... Sometimes on the comments section it has the number in () check it out!!

  • @ detraks who counts coments?

  • when i saw this video there were 666 comments. Coincidence?

  • bravo

  • Gto

  • Gto

  • Mopars. Bad to the bone.

  • if they are remaking it god i hope its good

  • I havent heard anything about a BTTF remake, and if so, id murder the producer. That would be the one mistake bigger than remaking Christine to me.

From what i know, the 1958 fury was used. But furys are rare as hell, so i know the Belvedere was used as a stand in sometimes. I believe the Savoy was too. And for certain simple scenes, ive heard rumors that the t- birds were used too. Each car model got thrashed so many times in that movie, so using just the Fury would be costly and just plain su

  • @nizmo012000

An actual fury was used for only the close up scenes as well as the assembly line scene. For all the other scenes, they used belvedere and doctored them up to make appear to be a fury.

  • Why don't they make this cars any more?? I bet they would sell many thousands...

  • love this movie gawd :)

  • Opening shot shows "Detroit 1957."

I would like one of these Furies in black with a gold, glistening, metalic stripe. No confounded computer on board. No confounded anti-air pollution junk. 100 octane lead gasoline! 4 barreled carb; supercharger, fender skirts. Cutouts on the exhaust. Glass pack muffler when using muffler. You put a $100 bill on dash & tell passenger: if u can reach it before we get to 50 its yours.

  • Notice how cars USED TO HAVE bumpers! What fiend decide to stop putting real bumpers on cars. We used to push each other to start the car with a dead battery.

  • 1957 was the year of the big tail fins. Civilization has been all downhill since then. You think your 2011 car could outrun this?

  • @Thunkful2 bah not only can the old cars out run but they can also rip them apart and split them in two as well.

Car those days were made of Iron today its aluminum and then some *snicker* Fiber glass.*rolls eyes*

  • Oh, and a 58 Fury or Belevdere is WAAAAY sexier than a 68 charger :D (they are nice tho)

  • Wierd. Now Slade is denying any involvement in a remake of Christine. But he is rebooting the Daredevil franchise. Not sure if media got confused on the movie (???) or if someone else will take it over. I say just leave Christine alone! :D its a good idea to be on her good side anyway ;)

  • The car featured as Christine was a Plymouth Valiant

  • I dont care how old it is, the effects used to show the car fixing itself shits on CGI!

  • I wish they had put Christine into Carmageddon... Man I wish they'd made another carmageddon game. With all new graphics and stuff...

  • it was a 68 dodge charger

  • The scene where the car repairs itself is quality! amazing still today, let alone 1983!!!

  • @JordanEmonds Yeah and to think, no computer generated graphics back then ;)

  • If they remake the movie, I do hope they use scale models, rather than use & trash up more 58 belvederes & furys, even ones in poor condition, as these cars are becoming more & more rare & extinct. Perhaps "Christine" could be some other car, like a 60"s Ford Galaxie or Chevy Impala, even a 70"s example would be good too, but I"d have no argument about a 58 Plymouth.

  • @alloutoftime Changing Christine from a 58 Plymouth Fury to another make of car would be blasphemy. That would be like making Freddy Kruger a 12 year old girl or Jason Vorhees a college jock. It just wouldn't work.

  • @StrongEnough78 I agree with you 100%. I just don"t want to see another 58 Plymouth destroyed beyond repair. "Christine" is a beautiful car.

  • @alloutoftime I wouldn't want to see that either. I'm sure they could use fiberglass replicas or at the very least, computer generated graphics (yuck) but it's better then seeing more Plymouths go to waste.

  • One of my fav movies of all time!

  • Some films just don't need to be remade and i truly believe this is one of them, unfortunately Hollywood does not understand this, look at Pelham 123. No doubt we will hear that the remake will be 'Christine for this generation but capture the spirit of the original'. Plus the classic 50's tunes will be replaced by crappy hip hop/ RnB songs. And car wise, what modern day equivalent could replace that 58' Fury in terms of looks and sound.

  • nice tribute what badass cool car!

  • Pretty good, I wish you put more of the burning car in it tho ;p

  • o sbt cortou as melhores partes :/

  • 10/02/11 no Sbt...Christine! Não perco por nada!

  • This girl....is bad

  • nice christine t shirts here............h-tp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130484293153&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:GB:1123

  • awesome stuff! what a great movie. there are some christine t shirts on ebay at the moment, gonna buy one after seeing this :)

  • The most beautiful Girl in the World

  • "FUCK YOU CUNNINGHAM AND THE HORSE YOU RODE IN ON"

    *crash*

  • hujowe

  • Doncha hate how Holywierd just loves to tear up classic cars? The 1st time wasn't too bad, but there's no need to remake this movie. It would be a total waste of classic iron.

  • They sadly are remaking Christine. David Slade, director of the third Twilight is re-doing it. Not much news or info on it. Although, This is one of those movies that should not be remade. It's like trying to re-make Back to the Future. It just won't work. And it doesn't help that I adore the 58 Fury and Belvedere. I hope it's a flop so that this classic one remains the best.

  • @nizmo012000 amen to that they ruin it if they do a remake, this is a timeless classic and should remain that way =D

  • @nizmo012000 Its fitting that the same guy who brought us the crap that is Twilight, is going to now destroy more of these beautiful and rare automobiles to make a crappy movie. It was hard enough to watch the first Christine. The first movie at least made the 58 Fury and Belvedere popular enough to save more than it wrecked.

  • @eroomas hopefully it's all CGI

  • @nizmo012000 They have been talking about it for 5 years, so it may be a while. Just another example of how these Hollywood cocksuckers cant come up with an original idea. Im sure Christine will be a 2011 camaro this time. LOL

  • @nizmo012000 Do u know what car are they using?

  • @MrThegodfather2010 its a plymouth fury(fitting name actually haha XD)

  • @FordInFlames yeah XD

  • @nizmo012000 I totally agree with you. No remake made by anyone will ever compare to the original. I might check it out to compare, and if it does suck, I'll immediately watch the original to get the new mess out of my head lol.

  • @nizmo012000 Noway.. I hope they remake it. I love the original but the more car movies the better...

  • Comment removed

  • @nizmo012000 Don't worry it will suck but unfortunately it will be popular

  • @nizmo012000 i dont know i think smokey and the bandit need a remake

  • @nizmo012000 dude i hate to be the one to break this to you but they are re-making back to the future and zac efron is playing marty

now if you'll excuse me im going to go cry

  • @nizmo012000 Isn't it 1957 Fury?

  • @nizmo012000

What they should make is one about a 1957 DeSoto, world's biggest tail fins, methink.

  • @nizmo012000

Actually; he's denied any involvement with it. So thats a relief. Unless it turns out its Uwe Boll...

  • @nizmo012000 No that was revoked. Stephen King said on his site he did not want it remade, that he was content with the first version. Also, said director said he was NOT involved with a remake of Christine.

  • thanks Cudarat

  • can any one tell me what type of car his mate drove in the movie (the blue one???)

  • @ssrabs 1968 dodge charger

  • @ssrabs IT WAS A 68 DODGE CHARGER

  • @ssrabs its a dodge charger

  • @ssrabs 68 dodge charger rt

  • @ssrabs 68 dodge charger rt in the movie ......But in the book it was 72 plymouth duster.. Lots of discrepancies between the movie and the book... in the book it tells you christine is a 4 dr a 4 dr fury does not exist.. the book also states the cars gear selector dropped into drive.... push button dash mounted gear panel no lever to drop anywhere...12 cars were used to make the movie of which only 4 were actual furys the rest were belvederes made to resemble the fury

  • Comment removed

  • @ssrabs hi there, it was a 1968 dodge charger, the same as the one used in the all time classic the dukes of hazzard, except the dukes one was a 69 model with different rear lights and front grille. a gorgeous car in it`s own right :)

  • @ssrabs it's a 68 charger. Almost as sexy as Christine..... almost!

  • @salemcripple thanks mate the 68 Charger is now the car of my dreams!!

  • @ssrabs yeah, mine too! Although i'd take ANY of these cars in this movie! The chevelle driven by the "bad guys", the charger, and last but not least Christine (1958 Plymouth Fury).

  • @salemcripple Appropriately the Charger was in one of the all time great car chase scenes in that fabulous 1968 movie Bullitt, Steve McQueen drove the Mustang and the baddies drove the Charger. The car chase is on utube.

  • @ssrabs yeah, i've seen it, but i don't think it was the same charger.

  • @salemcripple The "badguys" drove a 1967 Camaro.

  • @ssrabs its a 68 or 69 dodge charger

  • @ssrabs I think its a 1968 dodge charger

  • @ssrabs

    1969 CHARGER

  • @chancechipmantv itsa 1968 dude

  • @chancechipmantv 1968 fool

  • @ssrabs He Probably Drove a Dodge Charger 1978

  • @ssrabs '68 Dodge Charger.

  • i wanna know, is the dashlight really that creepy green or is it just for the movie

  • I'm always confused on how the black guy died.....

  • @acdcrocker2009 carbon monoxcide poisoning

  • Stephen King was the man behind it, awsome mind...Love this film..love the tracks..love John Carpenter.....Classic.

  • Stephen King was the man behind it...Love this film..love the tracks..love John Carpenter.....Classic.

  • since Christine was (theoretically) scrapped, she could have reincarnated. They should have an old school Suburban as the next Christine. That would be goddamn terrifying

  • and idk everybody calls my car a rustbucket and I,in my soul, say: "You shiitterr"

  • O hi:PI love christine so much saw movie when i was 6..an now I realise tht there are too many things in common in my life with this movie.Like per example Arnie bought Christine when he was 17.I bought mines at 16.LeBay's brother had back problems, thats why he wore a corset. The guy from which I bought my car he has back problems nearly at the stage of operation!

Arnie saw the car and instaintainiously fell in love,so did I .and one more thing...Christien was 20..mines is 30

  • the bikers forever

  • There are at least 20 people at the assembly line who are loitering! Hanging around and doing nothing.

  • @tanergode union labor

  • @tanergode Sounds like Britsh Leyland circa 1974

  • Great tribute vid. Not entirely fitting to Christine, but close enough... ;)

  • I wish i could have the front plate hanging in my man cave!!!

  • @07harleydog They actually have the replica of the plate on ebay! It's item number 300484213720. Or you can just search for "Christine The Movie 1958 Plymouth Fury license plate" Thought you might want to check it out!

  • this is the best movie ever! christine will remembered 4eva as 1 of the greatest movies ever. thnk u mr. king 4 the book 1st thn thnk u mr. carpenter 4 the movie

  • Still the best vid of Christine,,,thanks again!

  • congratulations to the United States for having a car and a film so beautiful. here in Brazil feel that the very lack of those cars that are actually real cars! congratulations

  • congratulations to the United States for having a car and a film so beautiful. here in Brazil feel that the very lack of those cars that are actually real cars! congratulations

  • j'aime trop ce film

  • classic nice vid

  • "God I hate rock´n roll" She said, worst phrase in the whole movie.

    God I hate her.

  • I've been looking online for one of those ever since I seen the movie. (couldn't find one)

  • @TheScheeler.i ve got one in my junkyard,50 bucks.of course,it needs a little TLC...

  • @diztanguy.forget about it.someone bought the car last week.couldn t believe the local news.i ve read the buyer die of a heart attack while renovating the car.spooky...

  • @TheScheeler.i ve got one in my junkyard.50 bucks.of course,it needs a little TLC...

  • @diztanguy what provence\state do you live in?

  • @diztanguy are you talkin about a fury or a belvedere?

  • Nothing like 8 big cylinders under the hood.......Under Obama's Cap and Trade, I guess you could get arrested for having such a beast??

  • @john18605 and obama would be at one of his BS small town speeches (maybe rockbridge?) and he would hear this

    youtube.com/watch?v=xeoI5IkwlV4

  • Great vid for a great movie!!!

  • so odd they put her coming off the assembly line in red, they didn't make her in red, even in the book he said he had to have her painted to get her red...

  • One of the best closing lines in a movie -- "God, I hate rock-n-roll!"

  • Quite possibly the best movie of all time.

  • Good job on the vid

  • I had the details and differences to belvedere fury but lost: (

  • Belvedere Perhaps this is because the model but the name is applied because fury of rage would not have a logical drive killer ... named Belvedere eh

  • christine was a belvedere not a fury.

  • @SuperRobbie1976 she was a custom made Fury, made with the Belvedere's signature colors. Hell, in the book, she's said to have been a four door

  • Christine, more bad ass than decepticons and kicks more ass than the autobots combined.

  • I wish they used "Rock and Roll is Here To Stay" that would of been fitting I agree best car ever I was actually rootin for her against the tractor!!!

  • I'd get myself a 1967 vw Bug with a red and white paintjob. That would be like Christine and Herbie's son.

  • Christine was a cool car, much unappreciated in its time. I'd like to have a 1956 Packard Clipper.... blue and white. Cool...

  • Thumbs Up!!! I haven't seen the movie yet but, i just finished reading the book which totally freaked me out!!!

  • @MichaelNumberOneFan Check out the movie. I think altogether it was better than the book.
