  • @holocaustexpert you are once again wrong. I read the Bible. Grow up? Really!? You are a hateful human being. All you represent is Hate.

  • Holocaustexpert,

The bibull was written by men.... men who believed the Earth was flat. Men who denied women the right to an education. Phelps type xtians love to sit in judgement of others...

many they all rot in hell for believing they are God. I've never seen such hatred from a supposed Christian group...

I also feel sorry for you, and for them, for believing in an unloving punishing meany god.

  • @DancesWithPumas - I am sure the southern charm and smile helped win many friends, but it is the actions of the woman that offended so many. The bible tells us there are 4 sins, the most insulting to God, that cry out to heaven for justice. Abortion and Sodomy are 2 of those 4. She chose to promote that which God defined as over the top evil. I bet if she could come back to life, she would repent, convert to the Catholic faith and lead a life of pennance. Too late.

  • Wow. I had forgotten how smart & articulate she was on these issues. I'm glad to know that her voice is archived here from which others will learn :)

  • too bad she never converted to the Catholic church, outside of which there is no Salvation.

I find this talk truly repulsive..

  • @holocaustexpert and who the fuck made you God's speaker on earth!!! do as you talk. God is a God of love and he is the only one to judge us. You donkey A-hole!

  • @setram13 - He also gave humans laws to obey and live by. Abortion and sodomy are serious sins to fellow humans and to God. Those laws are in the Bible.

The bible is God's word. I am quoting it. As a public person, her sins were thus public scandal. She could have repented but did not. Her destiny is spelled out in the bible. she promoted what God defined as evil. Did she allow unborn babies a choice.

  • @holocaustexpert above all those laws there is one hing that he taught us all:Love. Love that he demonstrated even for the most unloving or sinful being. Love was his way of living and Love was his way of dying. He did it all because he LOVED us despite of our sinful nature. You are clearly far away from what he wanted us to learn. You are a judgmental, loveless and merciless human being. I hope you find the Love that our Savior Jesus Christ showed us when he died for us at that cross.

  • @setram13 - My guess is you have NEVER read the bible. there are many accounts of Jesus rebuking people for their actions. There is no bible passage

in which Jesus is prasing evil. He calls evil doers to repent. Jesus called the Jewish Pharisses a ' brood of vipers' and said they are of THEIR FATHER , the Father of lies. Jesus calls all Jews who will not convert to Christianity... Demons! If Jesus called Jews demons, it must be true. I guess YOU will call that hate speech. grow up.

  • RIP Elizabeth, your life is a lesson in grace and compassion.

  • It makes me sad that such a great person could be stricken with so much misfortune. RIP.

  • A dear friend has died. She would have been an incredible First Lady.

  • Sad day in NC. Cancer sucks. Peace out, Elizabeth. Thank you for being a voice for so many of us.

  • May She rest in peace.

  • Wow, what a person! Incredible human being: generous, kind-hearted

  • @pdb1980 - aborted babies disagree.

  • @holocaustexpert

you people just love to yammer about zygotes... but show no compassion for those born, alive, and living.

    Freakin' mutants.

  • The "so called NEIGHBOR " is a republican plant

  • I would vote for John Edwards because of Elizabeth Edwards. What an extrordinary human being she is..as Tony Benn has said: "when there is so much hatred between men in this world, why should we bothered when two men love each other." Edwards (Elizabeth, that is) for President.

  • Hillary has been a disappointment at times (on the issue of equality based on sexual orientation) in my book.

  • Elizabeth Edwards for First Lady. Thank you.

  • What an incredible, wonderful, absolutely honest woman. What guts! NO politician or spouse ever has the courage in the U.S. to come out and stand up for equality for ALL people, certainly not gay people. I would be proud to have her as President (or First Lady - because she certainly is a lady and a WOMAN). I'm so proud of her. Not a calculated speech -- she believes all she says, and it comes out as truth. Thank you, Elizabeth.

  • There's nothing scarier than a rich narcissist with an insatiable need for more power. The two will say anything on the campaign; however, it sure does contradict their actions when no one is looking.

Ask those who know best... THEIR NEIGHBORS!!

  • What a silly pointless comment in response to a super speech by a super lady.

  • She is amazing. :)

  • She's wonderful. Great speech!

  • I would be more than happy to vote for Elizabth! I love her!

  • This woman is amazing.

  • Great News.

Mike has been invited to participate in the LGBT debate.

    Bad News.....

Gravel not being invited to yet another debate. The AFL-CIO debate in August (America's Union Movement).

Mike Gravel: "Major structural changes must be made to NAFTA"

I hope everyone will take the time to call.

    Contact: Steve Smith

    (202) 637-5018

    (202) 412-4440 (cell)

Don't give Clinton and Edwards the satisfaction of Mike not beihng there.

  • Yes, she is brilliant! But, it comes from being genuine, compassionate, and sincere. Rarely at these type of events have I witnessed a person willing to reach out and connect with as many people as possible as Mrs. Edwards. She walked around the ballroom, without handlers, and just wanted to talk and to get to know us. She never once uttered, "Vote for My Husband." She was just glad to be there with and for us...that sparkle in her eyes says it all. What a remarkable woman!

  • We don't need to belong to a group ourselves to understand it is unjust to treat them with less dignity than we would anyone else.

  • I was there and she was completely brilliant.

  • omg, a chill just went up my spine and i had intense goosebumps when she said 'Matthew Sheppard is joined by..." What the hell is wrong with our world? I just keep thinking, what if that happened to one of my gay friends? omg. elizabeth edwards rox. thanks for sharing hrc.
