Hey rytterfalk. The images in your video or so sharp. I'm tempted to go get the canon 5D. As a first camera, do you think is advisable or i should settle foe DSLR's like 60D or 7D or forget DSLRS altogether and go for something basic and easier to handle. Btw, is it true that the 5D shuts off automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity?

@wandoogbe Well, the 5D mark 2 is perhaps a little bit expensive? The Canon 7D has a smaller sensor and footage would like slightly different but not by much and price is much lower and it's even easier to use when it comes to filming. There are several other options as well - the small Canon 550 in't bad either! Less manual settings though I think.

All songs are from the album "voices of Eden" by fläskkvartetten - or fleash quartet as i think is there English name.. The middle song is "thinking of you" featuring Anna Ternheim.. Just search iTunes and listen to those tracks and you'll find all songs in this video. It's a great album!! :)

AMAZING. I want this. too bad I am poor, lol. But it's great quality, and that's in LOW LIGHT!! Now..from what I could hear, the audio is good...do you like it? Does it have any XLR inputs?

oh and...I LOVE THE DoF you were doing. Makes it (in my opinion) look more "film-like" lol. Thanks for sharing! :)

Google is your friend. Magic bullet is a movie look a like plugin filter sort of thing - for FC, AE etc etc..

No, no stand. The thing is that the 5D is a pretty heavy camera and weight itself will help you to be steady. I'm also holding the camera a bit far from myself in order to pretend to be a steady cam. :)

Nice quality looks like smoot film look compare to videocamera it looks like focus isnt as easy and maybee over exposing from strong light sometimes?

Thanks, great demo video. Can you please let me know about the camera's Video Clip Length? For how long can you really shoot with this camera? According to the specs it says up to 12 minutes in HD mode. Can you please verify this? Thanks again.

I don't have the camera anymore, it wasn't mine. But if it says 12min, then all you need to do is record another 12min. But why such long takes? You normally don't need more than 10-20s per take and even that is often too long. :) The rest is only up to the size of your CF card.
