It is scary he actually got a majority of the vote. But we must also not forget that his opponet was John McCain. John McCain could have won if not for his stupid support for the car company and bank bailouts. What the hell was he thinking!? McCain is a Republican, but not a conservative. People would have voted for McCain, but he did not offer anything different then Obama offered, and with Obama they voters could "make history". The republican ticket lost because of McCain, not Palin.
