  • I come up to katoomba every month dude. I got a video of birds coming to my house and eating bird seeds and fighting.

  • When I was ten years old, I was in Sydney and remember visiting all of the parks as well as Blowhole and the Blue Mountains. My friends (Aussies) and I would feed all of these masses of birds with walnuts and carrots. I just fed them like ordinary seagulls or pigeons. Then one day at the Toranga Zoo, one of these same birds started talking to me and asked me for an almond. That was when I first learned what a cockatoo was. I love seeing whole flocks of them!

  • dude, i know what you mean, I love parrots, I have a few cockatoo and galah friends.

  • I visited the Blue Mountains for a school trip last year and its still there! This is why I love Australia

  • Wow to have wild cockatoos on your bird feeder...awesome

  • Garbage cans and the lids are made of galvanized metal.......lethal for parrots/cockatoos... it will poison them.

Too bad they cannot use something else.
