lol i see that other girls have commented here i have the opposite problem! you see I have a problem every time I want to buy a shirt because my girly bits are too big in proportion to the rest of my body...i know it either fits everywhere else and not there or it fits there but not everwhere else.\ *Sadface*
If you're willing to spend a little extra money, you can probably find a jacket that fits the closest you can get it and take it to a tailor to tailor it specifically to you. I have the same problem with men's shirts too: we're both scrawny and not very broad-shouldered.
Tweed is one of the best things. I hope you find a tweed jacket, with elbow patches (assuming you want the elbow patches). If I ever am able to open my own store with which to sell shoes that fit me, I will also sell tweed jackets that fit you. In the meantime, I will keep an eye out at the thrift stores I frequent. I haven't found a tweed jacket that fits me yet, either :(
You have to try on stuff in front of other people in Belgium?! How humiliating. Sometimes I am extremely glad that Finns can be anti-social people with personal spaces the size of Canada.
This is so true. I can never find pants in my size because my legs are so dang long, and I can never find vests and dresses that fit properly because my...lady parts aren't big enough.
These things need to change! I say we go on a quest to a land that sells clothes in only our sizes...or we could learn how to sew (and make better cooler looking clothes than anything sold commercially in stores).
Bowties ARE cool.
