  • you guys are ridiculously cute

  • i love subarus! id support them too.

  • Dana DIED!? Next time warn ur viewers of the spolier alert!!!!! I've only seen up to when she went to the doctors office to get her tumor checked out WAAAAH! Spoiler. I still love ya'll though lol.

  • Wow I did not know that about Subaru and I live 30min from Indianapolis so thanks girls!!

  • I support you guy's endeavor

  • nice tie jess!

  • Do lezzies dress like boys cos ther gay, or are they gay cos they wanna dress like boys?

  • @martyshack717 for the record not all lesbians dress "like boys". People in general, regardless of sexual orientation, should and oftentimes do dress for themselves. They dress to feel comfortable and with clothes that represent their personalities best. Stop trying to give clothing gender. I like the way they dress and they seem very comfortable in their own skin. If you are trolling to start something do it elsewhere.

  • I find it inspiring to see how in touch you are with your homosexuality and your own self. I've just recently stopped lying to myself about my bisexuality and I love seeing people as comfortable as you are. I know that this comment would make more sense on one of your other videos, but I just felt the need to write this now. Thankyou for helping me.

  • Go big red!!! I was born in Indiana! I used to have a Subaru but my parents sold it and got a Honda instead :(

  • this reminds me of something Alix Olsen said "that's consumerism not activism". and while Subaru is better than other companies, it cannot begin to justify the damage that driving using petrol does to the environment. I do like your show so much though.

  • We are 2 hot lesbies on webcam

  • go team green :)

  • HRC has a iPhone app that lists all the companies that are LGBT supportive of their customers and employees. They also have a list on their site, check it out =]

  • i think that mary b look likes sarah bettens not ? :D

  • you could have done something for a gayfriendly bio limonade or something.. :) or an electric car..

no.. I would have continued to do interesting videos instead of marketing for a company...

btw, jess.. what about your thoughts about buddhism? you didn't mention too much about it - since a year..

  • i was a little confused about all this subaru stuff, but i like you explanations and i trust your judgment :) i am a fan of subarus in theory, because my family has always driven them. in practice though, my only car is a bike!

  • i support you guys all the way!!! i always say behind a successful person lies a pack of haters!!!... lls HI HATERS

  • my girlfriend used to have one but it died on her... I guess I would buy one if I bought a car ;)

  • I'm sure someone has said it but Subaru was also mentioned in season 1 as well with Dana :)

  • my gf has a Subaru. and we like it alot. and the ppl were awesome who sold it to us. very nice and very interested in our business it was awesome.

  • I LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LUV U LUV U LUV U LOVE YOU LOVE U LUV YOU GUYS! <3 im gonna describe right now.

    i hope i like my number -.-

  • did you subscribe?? I'm looking for subscriber 3,700. I'm teetering at 3,699. Someone push me over the edge!

  • of course I did!how could I not, mary bbbbbb? :/ so I'm not the #3,700,right?

    :( take care u baby girl! <3

  • I do not drive a Subaru, due to lack of funds. But since I've seen their support through The L Word and gay related advertising, I've set my sights on buying when I am able.

  • Hey I was just happy you guys are making so many videos. no complaints here.

  • My girlfriend and I went to carmax and got no funny looks :) No Subaru though. Maybe next time :)

  • I don't need a car.. I have a bike ;). Yeah!!

  • **applause**

  • Keyboard gangsters make your own videos and they can be advertisement and commercial free.

  • I drive a subaru :) Outback Impreza Sport, I absolutley love it.

  • I drive a Subaru Forester and love it. They're great cars. I never had a problem with it and would never buy a car other than a Subaru, honestly. One reason I ended up buying a Subie was that the company does support the LGBTQ community. The first car company to do so. If we want companies to support the LGBTQ community, we in return need to support them as well.

  • I wouldn't of said you were pluging Subaru. . . I personally I have other prejudices against subaru (i.e. boy racers) though after this video I might consider trying one . . . : )

  • lmao @ the lesbian camaro

  • I totally agree! We *DO* have a lot of power & need to get smarter about how we use it--and not just the LGBTQ community, but working people as a whole. Very thoughtful statement Mary :)

  • I hope that if you guys get nothing else out of this video, that you walk away thinking about where your dollars and patronage go every time you buy something. We can't be mindless about it any more. Thanks for your big open mind and sharp wits, whitneynwalton!!

  • Ooo. I made a previous comment to the effect of "I hope you girls are getting paid for this". Didn't mean anything negative by it. It just seemed you were doing Bob Baker and Suburu a big favour by advertising for them (which is totally cool by me) and I genuinely thought: "wow, if they're doing this much for that companie, they're wallets better be getting fed". So yeah, I know my comment is like 1/1000, but didn't mean to toss any negativity your way. You two are great. Peace.

  • My gf and I have both agreed that I would get a subaru when I become in the market for a car.

    She's getting a land rover....

    HA we're so typical.

  • season 2! just watched i!! amazing!!!

  • Is jess wearing makeup?? If so it looks nice! If not ill get my eyes checked :)

  • I've described

  • thank you outsideexterior. welcome to our world :)

  • @outsideexterior describer number 7522! :)

  • I live in Portland and there is a million subarus and I asked my mom and she said it because we live near the mountains hunny and now I know that we just have a lot of lesbians it just makes me feel at home. Oh and also I know like 10 people who drives a Subaru

  • all wheel drive + the swirls who drive them. when jess and i retire in portland, look for our soob in your hood :)

  • My mom bought a 2009 impreza last summer and loves it! The all-wheel drive was sweet during the snow-covered Massachusetts winter. Unfortunately, I do not drive a subaru. I did call dibs on the impreza when she's sick of it, though. By then my 1990 sedan will most likely have shit the bucket.

  • I miss mass winters : ( shout out to the berkshires from this new england girl. xoxx -mary b.

  • You look so nice <3

  • i've loved subaru for as long as i can remember. but having recently lost my job, i ain't got no money's. XD

do you think if i went to bob baker, and asked them nicely for a car, they'd kindly give me one? subaru, of course.. :P

  • Y'all are so adorable. If I lived in san diego I would totally go see bob baker! I really agree with your idea of supporting companies that are LGBT friendly.. do you know of any other companies specifically that are? I want to start being more conscious of how and where I spend my money to make it count!

Thanks for brightening my day, you two! xoxo, Describer

  • A GREAT place to educate yourself is on the HRC's Buying For Equality 2010 Buyers Guide (google 'Corporate Equality Index'). Jess and I have spent hours on that site. Thanks for watching, love. xoxx

  • you guys selling out never even crossed my mind cuz i didn't think that you guys were...and still don't =)

oh and btw...it was actually season 5 of the l word Mary B

  • Subaru's are great cars...I'm glad that they were so supportive and also to hear how eco-friendly that they are. Awesome! Still not getting rid of my Jeep Wrangler though...hehehe Cool tie!

  • I still have a tinge of disappointment. Sorry kids, that's just how I feel.

  • @Leeszabo do tell. for endorsing a motor vehicle company? let's hear it.

  • @marybside It's not who you're endorsing, or even that you are endorsing. What bothers me is the way in which you plug Subaru. The back to back commercial-esq videos made me feel more like a consumer than a participant in a lesbian lifestyle and entertainment movement. I felt used watching them. I understand your need to advertise and I know Flawles is a business, but I feel the appropriate place for the ads is at the bottom of the Flawles email, and not on YouTube. Sorry, but it's how I feel.

  • @Leeszabo I still love you guys though, and I would go more into depth, but I think this isn't the best place for a drawn out conversation. You have a fantastically devoted fan base, and I consider myself a part of it, even though our opinions sometimes differ. Best of luck kids!

  • @Leeszabo ok - but keep in mind that you were just watching us drive around in new subarus doing what we always do. We're supporting companies that support our community and we're making a point to discuss it, not just throw a banner at the bottom of an email, which may or may not be noticed. We do appreciate your continued support and hope our videos can inform you one way or another.

  • when I lived in Portland, a lesbian couple I worked with had a suburu, my lesbian boss had a suburu, and her girlfriend had her own suburu. This phenomenon is plentiful in the North West... as are lesbians. ;)

  • i am thinking of buying one actually! its soo good that they support the community

  • heh. somehow a "local car dealership" doesn't evoke the same kind of sympathy as, say, a "local book store".

anyway, is there an independent source for any of the "green" stuff? I've got nothing against Subaru (and I also don't have a problem with the car videos, I enjoyed them), but I can't just believe everything that's on their website.. It's their website, of course it'll be like "we're totally green, we recycle our own shit".

  • back in the states i've got a 2000 subaru outback, love it. right now i'm riding a recycled bike (an oma fiets) as my main transportation. i think subaru is a great company to support as well.

  • Subaru fans over here! Holla! Mine is a subaru family!

  • I watch all of your videos. :)

I wish you were my big sisters. XD

  • If the car ran on burning baby deers and said something homophobic on the side THEN it would be selling out.

Personally, I'd love to get offered the use of a car (ignoring that I can't drive) and those being critical should examine their feelings. Jealous, anyone?

But you both DO need to be more careful, less accidents please! lol Drive safe.

  • @AnIrrationalRatio haha It was the car door's fault - not my finger :)

  • I love you guys. and support anything you do. besides how adorable and cute are you two? Incidentally I love that shade of lipstick Jess.. looks real hot on you.. and MaryB is looking even lovelier than ever. Great 'vidleo' from one of your old time 'de-scribers' .

  • @pumba7 No lipstick, I swear. In fact, I've never really worn lipstick. My lips just get a weird shade of red when they're chapped. I'll still take it as a complement though.

  • it's soo true about the L word! subaru was the only company that wasn't homophobic and would be a part of a lesbian themed television show.

  • Ummm yup I would do it

  • The last girl I dated had a subaru. She called it her lez-baru. I, however, have the other lesbian car, a jeep wrangler.

  • woo for indianapolis :)

  • aww, jess looks so adorable in ties.

  • I dont drive anything at the moment..but watch out in 2 years I'll be speeding down the highway in my own sarah Subaru!

  • I love you guys!

ha I forgot about the door slam and for a seconds there I thought Jess painted her nails w/ purple nail polish.

I was like, wow, I'm proud of Jess, what a big transition from the gal who was freaking out over the purple wall a few months back. :), great video guys!

  • My aunt owns 2 subarus. Ironic as it is, she's lesbian. :)

  • I've always had a problem with the term "selling out" I mean if somebody is doing something they love (in your case hanging out with their girlfriend) and getting payed for it well then good for you! I don't think thats selling out. And i'm always super careful about buying "green" products.

  • i was think about geting u subaru i think i am going to now... i live in ky and ive been trying to go green

  • dude I love you guys no matter what you are doing. 5 stars as always.

  • @lunarmicrobe thank you :)

  • wow the fact that he came to you blows my mind--- that would never happen here in TN.

  • Rate five stars if you approve of our endorsement!

  • I hope everybody understands our message here. We want people to get smart and make sure the products that they purchase (and the companies they thereby support with their money and patronage) are kind to the LGBT community. Do your research!

  • I drive a 2009 subaru forester, 2010 lexus es350 and a toyota camery

  • Aww I Support You Guys First:)
