Sure is great to hear a young Bob Mason on drums and Ken Pine on the lead guitar with the Rev. Kenny Weaver, Ed Sanders and Tuli the gonzo go go dancer I almost fell over the rail of the first row of the mezanine I was laughing so hard. Great original band that never got its due. The Fugs were one of the first underground rock groups before Frank Zappa & the Mothers Of Invention came along a year after the Fugs which of course they gained a much more wider audience. The Fugs didn't have the star quality that the Mothers had but they simply were the pioneers of Underground Rock Music.

I never knew they played with a real guitarist. His homage to Hendrix is not bad. I would have rocked out if I had seen this band. When I heard their albums back then it sounded like electric jugband acid music to me.
