  • Most of these German marches were written long before the Second World War. Remember, Germany is famous for musicians too. Thanks for posting.

  • They were not battleships they were heavy cruisers

  • I may be wrong, but this footage appears to show the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Glorious being sunk off the Norwegian coast in 1940; it certainly appears to contain genuine combat footage and, as the two sisters only engaged one target together in this manner (ie; confidently firing broadsides and steaming toward the target) during their careers, it sort of points to it. Many men died on the Glorious and her escorts, Ardent and Acasta. Honour and respect to those men also.

  • Our band, Royal Swedish Navy Band, used it in our marching display in the ninties, but without singing. Beautiful march!

  • Shon muzik!

  • Wunderschon!

  • why i can't see , when Russian sunk his fleet ?

  • A stupid person. But Oh Well.

  • r u kidding me? banning shit is stupid were do you guys live? Im in america and i can listen and do whatever i want as long as i dont hurt anyone with it lol i can buy Mein Kamf at the local library and hand a nazi flaf in my front yard, people may think im a retard but theoreticaly i can do it cause we are free country lol

  • You just go hand that Nazi flaf, ZerYdon!

  • I doubt that Mein Kampf is available at your local library, but feel free to check it out. It's a poor piece of writing anyway.

  • amen to that.

  • it is available at my local library.

  • @addemanns It's sold in most libraries, in all honesty though, the prose it was written in isn't /that/ bad.

  • @godlypotatoe

Are you reading it in English or in the original language?

I dunno, but I think that might matter a little when it comes to the style it's written in =)

  • @godlypotatoe Commies lie, cheat, murder, rape and lie about it again.

  • Is this music allowed to play now ?

Have any country banned this march ?

  • I don't think that there is any country that ban this music.

  • @SSFlorianGeyer

Why would they ban these marches?

  • because they are considered propaganda.

  • @etheriazad Respect mankind? Really? Just as the commies did? LOL

  • @etheriazad sure......what about the soviets?

  • @etheriazad You can't even spell Fascist, not to mention there's a difference between Fascism and National Socialism. Remember all the genocides that Russia had? (The Ukrainian famine to mention one) The USSR was responsible for more deaths than Germany.

  • @etheriazad

    What about German Jews?

  • @Myles0Harcourt THOSE INTERMENTS WERE ALL DEPORTED

  • @zzzippo55

I don't understand you. Could you reiterate please, preferably writing in lower case where necessary.

  • @SSFlorianGeyer Our band used it in our marching display in the ninties, but without singing. Beatiful marsh!

  • possibly germany and austria - many things related to the nazi era have been banned - so much for post war freedom and liberty

  • @yklueup

They have been always allowed to play.

Bundeswehr has used these old marches from it´s beginning.

Only you seem to want to ban and I think you are overall not posivtive dude.

  • @yklueup Our band,Royal Swedish Navy Band, used to perform it in our marching display in the ninties, but without singing! Beautiful march!

  • Is it Scharnhorst in picture?

  • Scharnhorst and Gneisenau.

  • Vi använde Unsere Marine i vårt figurativa program för ca tio år sedan. Med framgång!

  • Those were real men back then with fighting spirit!

  • I couldn't say it better! Excellent quote volksgenossen.

  • Gneisenau wasn't a battleship, it was a battle cruiser. Get your facts straight. Otherwise good video

  • She was called either a light battleship or battlecruiser. The German navy always classified Gneisenau as Schlachtschiff. It means battleship.

  • She wasnt built to go against OTHER battleships, she was intended to go against convoy escorts such as destroyers and light cruisers and then wipe out the vulnerable caro ships. People always assume that becuase a ship is called "battleship" its intended to fight battleships. In war battleships sunk aren't as vasluable as the same tonnage of cargo ships sunk.

  • @shidoski The Scharnhorst class were absolutely NOT battlecruisers. They were designed, built and designated as battleships by the Germans. Only the British rated them as battlecruisers, and wrongly, solely on the basis of their having an 11" main battery. These ships were designed to have the main battery exchanged for three twin 15" turrets when they became available; wartime developments prevented this. The armour scheme provided protection against capital ship guns; a battlecruisers' didn't.

  • I've never heard the song before, but it's Great! 5* and added to favorites,
