  • I have always loved the entire version of this song. My first long term relationship when I was 17 I got engaged to a marine and he wrote this entire song in a letter from Perris Island in a letter. Now you know he cheated on me after that broke my heart and gave me graduation papers that we all have to recieve!!

  • I've heard all of the Isleys ballads but this is by far the smoothest one.

  • I am pride to know that Miss Isley give a comment about the music of the family. Thanks Mam.God bless you and all your wonderfull family.A fan from Belgium.

  • I can see bluelights to this song alone with the doorway beads. Classic indeed!!

  • i luv this song my dad use to play this for my mom

  • The opening of this song makes my heart skip a beat. I fell in love with my husband to this song.

  • Music like this made you wanna just grab your woman and let her know the exact same words of this song.

  • One of the coldest jams ever made!!

  • To me a person don,t know how lucky they are to have smeone there and they turn there back on them. Now days it,s hard to find a good man or woman with out hurtin them. It,s good to have a good woman or man standin there by your side...

  • fall of 1979--- this was my jam. the funny thing is, this was the song I played after my break up with my first college boyfriend. I remembered I worked "really hard" to be miserable and experience that break up lol--all the while, deep down knowing that I really did not care about him or not being with him. anyway--this song and MJ's off the wall--come home from classes, turn this on--then the slow burn....lmao

  • @alsdyall --NOT KIM. sondra--ISU, 1979 and my boyfriend's nic name was "Sco"

  • A Masterpiece !!!!!!!

  • this is beautiful indeed. i can't wait til i become famous and put a smile on all of your disappointed faces with my music. I am a producer, a rapper, a singer, and a graphic artist. I'm only 21 and i love these guys!! along with Atlantic Starr, One Way, Teddy P, Al Green and many more of those who brought real music to the industry. so with them as my inspiration imagine what kind of songs i write... =)

  • @k2damoney me too!!!!!! I'm 22. when i read what you said i thought it was a old comment that i wrote. I'm going to school for film and I'm starting a band called kin-folk.

  • @k2damoney --hopefully not ones that "borrow" their beats. original is best. Even new original.

  • will always sound sexxyy....

  • That song did bring back memories. It still sounds great. Rudolph wrote that song for me. Ronald sang it exactly the way that Rudolph wrote it. Ronald sang down on it. - Elaine Isley

  • @Repunza Hi, Elaine. It is an honor. Rudolph is too cool!! I'm a huge lifetime FAN!! I know he's in the church, but i wish Rudolph, Ronald, Ernie and Chris Jasper would make a new one, TOGETHER! It is needed real bad!

  • @Repunza Wow to have someone put their feelings out there for you in that way speaks volumes. You are one blessed lady. You can feel love radiating off the words. Thanks to both of you for sharing it with us.

  • nice song

  • The reason we dont hear music like this today is because they CANT make it like this. I could listen to this same song all day.Takes me back to ditch parties in highschool.

  • Amazing!!!! I'm 41 years old and I and so new to things!! Thank you for bringing me where i am tonight!!!!!!

  • This song is so good it just makes me wanna grab my honey and love him all the way down. Damn, as a matter of fact, I'm getting ready to do just that.........

  • This song just bring tears to my eyes, and it's my favorite song of all times. My husband and I slow dance off this song.

  • This song make me think about my wife of 25 years.

  • this music is so real it will never die

  • this is so real music like this never dies

  • another one of my favorite groups you go Ronald Isley aka Mr.

Biggs when he was with Angela Winbush

  • @Babyboy1163 --what? This song was out in the late 1970s, when angela was still a teeny bopper. and when "Biggs" was just Ronald Isley--of the greatest black group that ever played or sang--"the Isley Brothers"

  • I have always loved the Isleys and this song was one of my favorites off this album they all are but this is so nice!!!!

  • I had almost forgotten about this one. Their love ballads just leave you wanting more.
