  • I love the Bass-s-s-s-s and loved seeing Baby Ford in concert years ago. Baby Ford opened for Erasure ♥

  • Finally got round to translating the scribble, it says...

Maam thats a weird trip. you aint yet seen yet ya know two fat ladys are reachin in to pull ya out by the gut. man you think i hope the whole world dont stink like this but thats the scene you just entered into the wicked wide world. oochy coochy f.u. babe yeah yeah 12" lovechild inc. slapper mix. fordi. p.f. ford + electric girl x.s.

and some weird face drawings around the middle with lovechild inc between them

    there ya go!

  • Used to climb the walls to this one!

  • @rickylee369 i've got that 12 with the scribbled b side, its the original promo that blew all he bass bins in London, i'll dig it out and post later what it said...

  • I would of saved this, but the video blew virtual chunks!

  • this is proper one of the first acid trax i heard......would love to get the 12" with the scribbled b side, or at least have someone tell me what it said.... can this be possible?

  • You are right she doesn't move her feet like we did back in 88. But then again the kids these days don't move . Too much hip hop will do that to you.

  • one lazy dancer ... she doesn't even move her feet to the percussion breaks.

hell, I used to tear up the dance floor to this track. my dance shoes would be smokin after about the 5th percussion break. too bad

  • I hate being 20. I missed out on so much!

  • oochy coochy f u baby yeah yeah !

  • nice little UK acid track, got it in a box somewhere, still nice!!

  • @sussexpenguin

do tell me sir, how much for the 12" ?

  • Quote: "This track is probably the start of all Techno music from 1991 until now"

Rubbish. This is an acid track. Techno started in the US with Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Co. as early as 1985. By '91, techno was already well established in UK clubs. Acid and techno certainly crossover but one didn't start the other. It just hapened that techno was more accepted in Europe and slotted right into a club scene that was already happening.

  • @Poachmeister I concur with you but I hate with a passion of the breaking down of subgenres with in Electronic music. In the end it's a great tune that has us moving to it. And we can thanks "techno" technology for it being done and for us to admire it from afar. I remember seeing an interview here on MTV Kurt Loder asking the biggest electronic act ever Depeche Mode on what they thought of Acid? They were like "wtf is acid?! And their English by heart! One Love, One World, One Universe paz.

  • This track is probably the start of all Techno music from 1991 until now. Most of it isn't real Techno or House music anymore... it's pretty much cheese. But I was a part of this scene when this track was in the dance clubs.

  • @fxyvgngrl I agree with you 100%

  • @Poachmeister How could anyone call this techno, if thats what they think they was'nt there. This is Acid house at it's finest.

  • @DaKraftyFella Indeed it is; had this 12" on vinyl, a truly revolutionary tune this was; gave it the beans big time to this many times; after consuming lots of doves, disco biscuits and strawberries and microdots.

  • I love this little techno ho, oh and the song too!

  • Saw them with Pet Shop Boys in 1987. Great show.

  • She'd still get it right enuff!!!!!

  • This wee burd's got a wierd body!!!!

  • I took so much acid I could jump start a bus. Those were the days!

  • Wow! I remember this!! Brilliant. Thanks for uploading!

  • I personally think this beats the shit out of anything the Yanks put out then. I know what I was flailing to at Wigan Pier in them days and it wasn't Marshall jeff' - my opinion, with 808 State we ruled.

  • remember this blew a speaker at spectrum, bang on it on a windowpayne, mad crazy days.

  • I recall this 12" came with a warning that the bass could damage club sound systems. This track's bassline bumps like no other before or since.

  • I can smell the sweat drippin from the ceiling, the strobe light & the smoke machine goin into overdrive-i wan't some acid (ying yangs) now!!!!

Iy has really stood the test of time.

  • yo be careful wit dat, it degrades with each play dawg so makk shure u gots niggaz around 4 it wit big speakrz cuz its not worf fuckin up ur original sound while other shit could happen to your record(shit falling on the turntable, etc) juss 2 get dat analogue sound. pluss therz no diffrnce frm vnyl 2 digitl witout good monitrz either on da head or equidistant from da head ya digg ma doogie?

  • wtf language are you speaking gay boy.

  • HAHA youtube needs subtitles for cockholsters like this

  • Mental mad acieed

  • I used to get proper scared stomping to tunes like this in a derelict factory/warehouse whilst off my face on microdots. Ah, the poor kids of today, what have they got that could equal the acid house explosion?

  • nothin, this shit grabs at every brain node and massages them... seein the notes float in front

  • @dazlants i hear u daz lol microdots

  • @dazlants speaking as a kid of today, we have absolutely nothing equal to it. and that SUCKS.

  • @dazlants lol i understood none of that.

  • @dazlants Best comment ever.

  • @dazlants They've got crack and rioting for the time being. Then hopefully everyone will get all loved up again and things will mellow out eventually.

  • Oochy Koochy, as named after the noise there old ford cortina used to make.

  • The best example of acid house in retrospect. Thanks.

  • So coool ... i still love it ... that remember me the best continental club ... FRONT, Hamburg, Germany ...

  • LOL nice computer anim, clip

  • Lots of very mad nights with this tune. Loads of acid, E's,strobes and smoke machines....and your own little world !

  • AWESOME!!!

  • BABY FORD BABY FORD .....

  • God I love this song. Always a favorite. The Konrad mix was terrible if you ask me. It does not do the song justice. I have the original speaker blowing version on vinyl. Will never part with it. Those were some of the best time of my life. Dancing till dawn with no care in the world. Of course with a little help my my vitamin E. Lol!

  • Where can I download this version of the song?

  • they call it aciiiiied, good stuff

  • "This original mix (although you cant tell from this low quality recording) had extra heavy bass ,which did blow speakers."

Haha, I can remember this happening all the time in clubs, but this version is by far he best...it still gives me 'chills'. I still have this on vinyl.

  • have this on vinyl what a tune

  • ford trax one of the best album maxi eps of acid history.

    great!!!!!!

  • This is what Acid House is all about. Blew me away in 1988, since then was hooked on Acid House. Nice graphics - what's the software?

  • It's not a standalone software it's a Winamp plug-in.

  • Thanks pzar, I'll check it out.

  • @1970Dez maybe you do try vodka software when you play pzar acid mix^^ :D

  • I love Baby Ford to death. He is a MASTER of Techno and Acid House music.

I wanna see some BEACH BUMP, who's holding out on us????

Thanks for putting this up. You could play this in any club RIGHT NOW and this still sounds fresh.

  • bit slow, the original was a bit faster I'm sure... I heard that when it was first played in the clubs it blew every subwoofer due to the low frequency. I had it on promo with a track called Flowerz on the B side.

  • This IS the original 12" that came out on 1 sided, etched vinyl. The track that you are talking about is the Konrad Cadet mix.

This original mix ( although you cant tell from this low quality recording) had extra heavy bass ,which did blow speakers.

The complaints about this original version damaging sound systems were the reason that the less bassy and slighty faster Konrad cadet mix was made and released....

    Nerd out.

  • One of the best acid house tunes :)

  • SUPER CLASSIC !

  • reminds me in particular of love at the wag 1988 hot and sweaty-yeah

  • Ah, you said it man. I wish I still had the sweatshirt but I gave it away...I remember Steve Proctor used to put on 2001 and then Phuture (I think) and everyone would just go insane...

  • Ahhh- nice that someone can share that memory with me (cant believe its 21 years ago-sick or what)this is the club I stumbled upon acid house-and never looked back, even standing in the queue was a buzz listening to that bassline and the dryice(I think or steam haha)coming out the window above-happy days

  • One of the biggest traks of summer 1988. Baby ford used to go to the mud club on a friday night at charing cross.
