i would have loved to see the porthole scene remade in a 1960's Connie Francis movie where Connie couldn't get her ample bubble butt through while wearing a tight skirt.Connie was a great comedy actress,but the films she was in were silly,especially ''where the boys are''.Elvis' movies were also silly.the 50's musical comedies were better than in the 60's.

Honey, how can you not get it??? ... Right. Python wraps himself around the goat. Piggy was being a 'python' and Lorelei was being a 'goat'. And Piggy was probably demonstrating being a python and squeezed himself around Lorelei - so it appeared that they were hugging (at least) -> and a picture of that [given to Gus] would cause a scandal. 'Cause Gus is very jealous person...

They "skipped" to the frame where she's out completely. Her butt and hips were way too big, so they just put her in feet-first from the outside instead so it made it look like her butt actually fit through. A cheap trick, but it worked!

Anyway I think the director made a good choice because this kid is supposed to be prissy and uptight. He's very rich and surely has too many responsabilities for such an early age. The way he speaks makes sense.

You're missing the point. He's not supposed to be like Shirley Temple. Delivering his lines totally dead-pan, along with his unnaturally deep voice, was his schtick. He sounded like a very serious, grown-up person, which was incongruous with his young age. His dry, dead-pan delivery and froggy voice made him a regular on the Art Linkletter comedy show. Cary Grant was one of his 'fans'. What you call 'bad acting' is actually why he's funny. He was very popular in the 1950s.
