I agreed wit u I'm leaving netflix's dvds to go to blockbuster this friday but I'll keep the streaming til feb once the starz deal is over. But I know gamefly will hurt when qwikster start renting games I decided to stick wit GF cause for the price you pay for a game you want is alot cheaper than gamestop hopefully this will make gamefly to lower their prices to match qwikster with the discounts they offer customers I can buy the games I want for half the price than gamestop. what u think thanks
@BigKane23 yeah BB is pretty awesome considering they offer movie and game and is pretty cheap plus in-store exchanges. now I will say that GF do have more selections than Blockbuster (in-store and online) AND super new games are not available for in-store exchanges. for example I couldnt switch my mailers for Dance Central 2 which came out yesterday (Oct 25). but the selection is still nice enough for the price.
Yea so BB is a good thing for you but you are right they do have a sucky game collection. But dang I am glad you told me about GF cause I was thinking about going that way but now I am not. BB is less money and I am all about saving money if I can. But I was wondering about the prices that Qwikster will have.
sometimes the wait time for a game does suck but that's just me so I would rather go to gamestop to get the game. Now the shipping very fast I do like that about blockbusters.
@antant7777 see I only buy games that I know I am going to love and even then I would rather buy it cheap so I usually wont buy it when it first comes out. Only exception are games that I am super excited about and I probably pre-paid months ahead until it comes out like the oh so anticipated Dance Central 2 (cant wait!) and Final Fantasy XIII 2. usually if I havent tried the game, I would rather rent it first to see if I really like it and if it is worth buying.
Okay like on blockbusters if you go on there right now and look up madden 12 if you want to play that game right now. You will have to wait because it's not Available until 12/13/2011 for you to get it. Which does suck to me but that's how all new games are on there that are already out. If you don't mind the wait then yes it's good for you. I don't know how the wait time is on game fly for a game that is available to get is. But sometimes on blockbusters if the game is hot there is a wait time.
@antant7777 Right now I have canceled my Gamefly and went with BB Total Access. Yes there is wait time on BB. However it was a wait time on GF as well. The Pro to BB is that if they have the game in the store, I can always switch out my mailers for it which is pretty nice. Dont have to wait. However I have to admit the BB store close to me have a sucky game collection. So lately I have my que filled up with a whole bunch of games and if a new release of movie comes out I switch it out for that
@imsatindoll Now I will say that GF has other consoles available to rent and BB doesnt. You can rent DS games and PSP games and even the older Game Cube games (I do like to play old games as well as new) on GF. While BB Total Access doesnt seem to have DS and PSP games for rent. In-store may be a little different though cause I think they had DS ready to rent in the store near me.
