Please keep posting these videos!! I'm learning greek with the Papaloizos new Modern Greek textbook... I love it and the book corresponds to these videos and makes learning the language so much easier for me (since I have prior experience)... so please keep posting!!!
@Tassos1821: Δεν είμαι Έλληνας, η πολύ Όμορφη γυναίκα μου είναι από την Ελλάδα. I met my wife in Greece and spent some years there and that’s how I learned Greek. Yes these videos are staged and simple but very useful, and it’s polite Greek. Further, I have to use a translator with my comments because I do not have a Greek keyboard. But then the translator doesn’t always make sense so I rearrange the words as best I can with the translator. Ya sas.
@IX19UT8O Lucky you... ;) I guess learning Greek is somehow strange, because there is always something to learn...! And that's really great. Well, I am Greek, and I know my native language very good, but there are some words and idioms in some dialects, that I don't know... I went to Crete last year, and I visited a distant village... I needed to pay very much attention to what he said to get the meaning... Hope you come back to Greece! Where are you from?
@Tassos1821:Ευχαριστώ, I'm from Hawaii. Long story how I got to Greece. We do return to visit my wife's (Eleni) family. Have to, as with all Greeks, her ties to her family is very strong. We live and work in Arizona right now. It gets very hot here, The temperature here is between 40 to 46 degrees celsius during the summer. You get use to it. Εδώ είναι δώδεκα και μισή το πρωί, και εκεί είναι δέκα και μισή το πρωί τότε καλημέρα και ya sas.
@Tassos1821: BTW I love Greece and its people. The Greeks always treated me kind and I made many friends there. I love the Greek music, the Bouzouki/Tsifteteli, not the pop stuff. There are many Greeks here so my wife is OK but Greece is where she wants to be. Perhaps one day we will move back.
I have a translator that is very easy to use in conjunction with an English keyboard, if you wish to learn more about it, shoot me a private message and I will send you the link.

Enhanced dialog:
- Γεια σου κούκλα. Τι θα κάνεις το βράδυ;
- Πάλι αγαμίες έχεις ρε μαλάκα; Ξεκόλλα. Τα’ χουμε πει εκατό φορές. Από μένα δε μασάς.
- Μα γιατί το λες αυτό; Για ένα ποτάκι ήθελα να σε καλέσω.
- Εσείς οι άντρες όταν λέτε «ποτάκι» εννοείτε «γαμησάκι».
