the sound is in the tuning..dont tune to the gimick shortcuts..do exactly as floyd says..even if you dont sound like ed you will sound great yourself..spring tension should favor the bass side..work from sharp to flat*(in the springs) .intonate a little and do it some more ..eventualy your stuff will be "straight " as it were

I remember being at this concert so many years ago, Van Halen was great with David Lee each member was great they had something special.
