  • The Smile on your face with the baffles out must be HUGE!!!

  • will these fit on the ER6n 2011 model?

  • damn that sounds tuff. i am wondering how that sounds next to my 2 brothers. i have a 650r. anyway sounds great!

  • I just found my new ringtone.tnx

  • XK7350V is your exhaust?

  • amazing sound!

  • std sounds better ,,, just sounds my kids pit bike with other can

  • Haha I just clicked on this half interested.....that sounded way better than I thought it would.

  • Just put some on, OMG!!!

Took baffles out and man, theses pipes are gonna scare peeps...eeek :)

  • @boogsaboo, you should hear my ktm... I ride in Hong Kong were people are always in the street and jay walking. The braaap snapple pop from my 625 single sends them scattering a few hundred meters in advance. God I love it.

That said, these lxil pipes are sick. I have always wanted to drive a Versys or er6n. Both are great bikes, but sadly, I think they are ugly as fuck in stock form. Both would need a lot of work for my tastes.

    Duke 2 FTW

  • @clevername333 I almost bought a Duke, myself. I got an FZ6 instead, at least for now.

How do people ahead of you hear your exhaust? Did you bend it so the cans point forward? Might be a good mod, safety-wise!

  • @KutWrite, Yo! That is hilarious, I was seriously considering a naked FZ6 as well! hahaha. How do you like it? My KTM is like a super hot girlfriend. When things are running well, it is just simply fucking amazing... but also like a hot girlfriend... she is a bitch to deal with on occasion, and always needs little expensive gifts to keep her happy...

However pulling a second gear wheelie out of a corner on my favorite mountain road to the sound of crackin exhaust.... smiles all the way.

  • @KutWrite, ahhh, I did not really answer your question. No, I do not think it is important to modify the exhaust to the extent you suggested. In my case, I could not afford the full carbon Akra pipes, so I had my local monkey wrench gut my stock cans and repack ever so slightly. Brapp Brap snapple pop wakes me up every morning, and does a great job of projecting sound forward to alert errant pedestrians in my path.

  • i am SO getting this.

  • Best ever sounding Exhaust ever ever ever!!!!!!

  • Went to the Ixil website but they don't list anything for the Versys. What model exhaust did you use?

  • Man, I was thinking about getting an ARROW can, but after watching this vid, I might just have to get the IXIL double pipe. Do you know if they make it for the '09 650R?

  • decent mate where can i get an exaust like tht

  • Very cool comparo.

Reminds me of my 1965 Super Hawk w/aftermarket pipes.

  • Too WILD, love the sound :D

  • The sound is pretty amazing !!! I love it where can I get one ??? Any stores in Canada???

  • No matter the kind of can , you still get a 180 degree twin . Can't approach the sound of a 270 or 360 parallel twin .

  • was it hard to get the baffles out? What if your stopped though?

  • now that sounds nice!!!

  • Please excuse me while I go pull it to this video....sounds better than porn.

  • imagine the Versys fitted with 675cc triple.....come on Kawasaki you used to be the triple experts what happened???

  • tiger cub methinks....come on triumph!

  • FUCK YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • roaaaarrr x) feels like a lion xDDD

  • I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!! :D

  • That's sexual!

  • Hello , in one week i will buy this exhaust system from IXIL for my VERSYS. Does it effect performace of engine, did you notice anything different?

  • Just got off phone w/ 2 brothers and they do not recommend the 2 can set up, rep said the bike would need a custom map to stop the bike from back firing. Did you have to do this for the IXIL dual install?

  • No thats rubbish. Lots of people on the versys forum have them fitted to stock machines with no problems.

  • @digable007, Yo! My KTM duke backfires all the time off throttle! Fucking love it! Clears pedestrians out of the way a few blocks in advance. Evil sounding machine.

  • Get rid of db-killer baffles, I heard they cause homosexual tendencies.

    Hope this helps.

    God Bless.

  • Looks and sounds great with the baffles out. But it really sounds good stock too. Does it lose any low end power with the baffles out?

  • Hey...me again. I went to the site and they were pictured in a set of 2. So you are saying they are sold with all the hardware to install 2 cans on the underbelly of the bike?

  • yes

  • Excellent video showing a clear difference between the three settings.

  • silverman45, been trying to find those cams on the internet - where do you get them from, could you supply me with a dealer or importer? please - amazing sound that i want, love my versys...

  • Got them from BR special tuning, Herefordshire.

Google "Ixil Exhausts" they are there under IXILSILENCERS DOT CO DOT UK

  • very nice sound !

  • Thats the best sounding system yet for the Versys.

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G sound!

  • Great look and great sound. Of all exhausts for Versys this I like the best . Does it affect performaces of engine, did you notice anything different?

  • I am due to pick this bike up in the forth coming weeks and wanted to know how you hooked both tubes up, not that I am getting the LXIL tubes but the 2 Brothers Tubes. From the video I see the bracket, I guess where can I find the bracket?

Secondly how is he bike for comfort?

  • The pipes are a two into one so just use the same fixing points as the original. No problems with comfort.

  • Did you cut the pipes or do the LXIL tubes connect that way? I am confused because the pipes are 2 into one but you have 2 tubes/cans. Is there another pipe there that hooks back into 2? What about the bracket, something from a Home Depot store?

  • Oh so you remove the 1 pipe(connector) and connect the 2 pipes...got it.

  • I havent got this bike, but would be considering it, and liked the sound of the new exhausts, how much where they?

  • They cost £343 delivered. If you are considering a Versys go to the owners club website.
