do you really have to understand the chords and voicings etc like debussy did to write the peice just to be able to play it? not in my opinion. You only have to work a lot and feel what you are playing. That was superb, really superb. What a weird audience... was that an audition?
To play with such an intelligent understanding of the complex harmonies of 20th century music and to show great dynamic range, a wonderful technique, subtlety and restraint would be amazing and absorbing for an adult. For a little girl, it is great, great wonder just beyond words. Bravo!!!
Bravo! she has excelent musical expression which I didn´t find on many great and older pianists here at Youtube. I prefer her to Claudio Arrau interpretation.
