Hi, traveller ! How are you doing ? About 30 y.ago The Ruud Hermans Band with lady singer Jony de Boer recorded this song. It was an outstanding performance (as ever). Very pitty this group went down in 1985 (named as 'TULSA' )after their last album '85 Still Alive'. Very, very pitty.

Question to you: Ever heard of this(Europeen nr.1 Country Group.

Hi friend, Do I read your account properly ? You are from 'The States' and are aware of this Dutch Country Singer. Amazing. Tell me how come ! In my early days I was Ruud closest friend, fanclub-chairman of 'Friends of Tulsa' and show-manager. I love all kinds of Country Music. Old-Time, Blue Grass, Tradd., Tex Mex, Zydico, Contemp. I really love it all: COUNTRY MUSIC IS TO-DAY's MUSIC.

By thd way: The Tumbleweeds are 100% Dutch. Ruud was during a few years their lead singer.

@renger29 I have some friends that live in the Netherlands and they have introduced me to many singers that I would never have known but for them. Adenkaren, Ben & Carmen Steneker,CCC Inc, Dick Van Altena,Ruud, and the Tumbleweeds to name a few. I'd say the Netherlands, Ireland and Australia are 3 countries where American country music is very popular. In fact, they have what I call TRUE American country music while Nashville has a false replica of the genre.

@reiziger63 Yes, I also have about 20 of the Tumbleweeds songs. I know that The Rudd Hermans Band is from the Netherlands but know not if the Tumbleweeds are from there.

Well; that is different! I noticed Johnny mentioned his children in response to Janie's question but not his wife, so of course we are to wonder if this was a deliberate ploy on his part, or is she no longer part of his life?

Hi,love the story this song tells,could it be different second time around?

Johnny and Jane always sound very risque and suggestive together,they are not just singing a duet together they tell the lyrics like it is.
