A little more on the gear system and u would have alot more voltage ,I make my pulleys out of 3/4" plywood ,that way there is no limit on the voltage. Your set on the rpms your gettin so increase the drive pulley make your own,I wished had a supply of running water would the same thing .Thanks for sharing
to produce electricity ever heard of someone using a wind up clock mechanism to turn a generator . i wind up my alarm clock only once a day and it makes more sense than those stupid hand cranks on radios and flashlights that you have to constantly crank?

Nice! Heres a little help to up your out put ! The water mill is turning slowly so use some gear changes to increase the final speed and generate more power. In other words, use a larger gear attached to the rod on the water mill then connect that gear or pulley to a smaller one attached to your generator. Good luck. Nice work...
Wow! I love the ingenuity of inventor-type people; we are watching videos on water mill generated power and plan to build a stream/waterfall that is fast enough to generate the power needed to run the pond pump. Our water garden is our hobby but a hobby we give much more energy to than we can afford. Physical energy because we are doing all the work and budgeting up to $100 on and no more. It requires us to think outside the box. A great feeling.

A very inefficient waterwheel. It's hard to judge from the movie, but that flow over that height should br capable of close to 1KW of power.
