  • I think that the haters didn't understand that this is a midi controller for guitarists, not a guitar replacement

  • @tomerGunz I agree!

  • skrillex?

  • No - I don't think so.

  • No.

  • Seems kinda cool, a bit like a keytar.

  • The guy in the middle of Pendulum plays such an instrument, must be fun to use /watch?v=sl4UGT21jt8

  • Pendulum eat your heart out

  • It's a long long way to learn to play the guitar. I can't imagine anybody who practiced seriously for years will ever change to such a thing. Well, maybe some do.

  • can you use it for a midi controller?

  • @amiryou789 Yeah

  • we want the salut guitar!

  • I was one of the first people to order one of these and have a few videos of it on my channel, plan to do an in-depth review soon.

  • @Jdudeo Cool!

  • Guitar without head looks very sad for me....

  • how exactly do you use it? what equipment do you need to make it work?

  • @ibanezxiphos700 just an amp, the guitar has a built in synth, it is basicly a keyboard in the shape of a guitar.

  • id buy one

  • This is more like a toy for people that cant really play the guitar. I agrre with other comments on the midi pickup (from Roland) is much better.

  • @tanukitejon It's really a different type of instrument. Something new. I didn't feel very comfortable with it after thought. I don't know that guitar players will love this, but perhaps it will appeal to a new generation of musicians?

  • What are you thought on the misa vs the yourock?

  • @MidnightPancakes Overall I would say that the Misa is better. It tracks perfectly. But not having any strings was a bit weird to be honest.

As far as midi guitar, I got a chance to play with the GraphTech system and it blows away all the competition in my opinion.

So much that I ordered one. I'll review it as soon as I get it!

  • You would have to work on your legato chops to get the best out of it!

Don't know if I could get used to the strings that thing uses :)

  • @Vercingetorix Yeah, the lack of strings is quite strange. Also, the frets were really small I thought.

  • i think using midi pickups on a real guitar feels better

  • @skylinrg I agree!

  • I bet a music studio could really benefit with one of these though, since there are so many synths that can be easily used.

  • If i recall you reviewed this but werent impressed David?

  • @theelfman That was a completely different product

  • @Socky42 Ah, right you are. My mistake

  • @theelfman Yeah, the one I didn't like was the Yourockguitar...

  • That's a really intriguing advancement in technology. Thanks for sharing buddy! :)

  • Johnny DeMarco guest appearance @ 1:26 xD

  • @jimiclaptoncarl18 That's right! :-)

  • it's funny, "kitara" is actually exactly "guitar" in finnish ;D

  • @TommittajaFIN I wonder if that was on purpose?

  • @Wallimann

oh dare you sarcastically respond? ;D Isn't it japanese? oh well. it just sounds a bit funny calling a guitar "guitar"... mmh it runs on linux though :oo this is some serious tribute to finland or something >_> it's a conspiracy, obviously.

  • @TommittajaFIN Kitara was also a kingdom founded by the Bachwezi Dynasty in Africa...just sayin'...

  • That´s really cool, great for Midi things I guess :D

But nothing can ever compare with a real guitar, not even a future thing like that :)

  • FIRST

  • Oh god.....
