I did live with him at one time 7 years ago before we had a son together. At that time He thought he was all that just because he had a place and I didn't. Sometimes his "friends" would tell him to kick me out because they wanted to use his place as a hoe pad but they couldn't do that as long as I was there. They did try many ways to get me out but I stayed. Anyway he lost his place and I got my own place and let him move in with me.

MSGINA Ive been married long enough to know that I have a gem of a blk wife, and not long enough to know that a lot of blk mn are suffering unnecessarily with sooo many blk wmn, that they now have to go to wht, latina, or asian wmn to get the love and happiness they desire. This is not about ALL BLK WMN, its about the ones, the majority, that have turned ALL MEN off and continue to widen the gap between BLK WMN & BLK, WHT, ASIAN, LATIN, ARAB, RUSSIAN, INDIAN, PIGMY, & MARTIAN men. Seriously!
MSGINA MEN dont have to brag about it and blk wmn should stop looking at it as blk men complaining. Look at it as a necessary conversation that needs to be addressed in order for black men and women to make amends for the negatives that plague their relationships. Just like America needs to have talks on race relations, so do blks. And just MAYBE blk wmn will learn something. THEN more blk wmn will hear what my good blk wife hears from me daily: "You can have whatever you like."
I agree that b.m and b.w. should have this debate if we're going to continue to be together. However neither party should feel that they're being insulted or put down. You can't get a message across if we are looking to hurt each other in the process. All black men don't hate black women,and all black women don't hate black men. Both parties needs to learn each other.A lot of black men fall into the traps that they claim black women fall into and we should work to stop this cycle.
What I've heard from so many black men on here is that black women are the number 1 killers of black babies so which is it? are we self center baby killers or are we baby making machines? which one is it we can't have it both ways.

Hi H.D. Okay I'm not sure if I understand you but if I'm not right let me know. Okay you're saying that black women opted for welfare instead of taking on a "sugar daddy". You're right welfare wasn't the only hope for black women struggling with children. But let's be real why would a financially challenged woman who has children want to chase around a man or any for money there's no guarantee in that.
When on the other hand all these women have to do is stand on a line sign some papers and be guaranteed that she will be given some financial relief. With a man there isn't always a guarantee that you'll be stable. Sometimes women have to look for other means of survival and that's all that these women are doing surviving without having to engage in any illegal or immoral behavior.
I don't know why so many people look down on people who are of lower income. There are a lot of people who have kept their black families together while receiving government assistance. I don't know why some men feel that government is capable of replacing them the government can't fill the void of a child not having his father. The real issue is that men can't fathom the idea of another man taking care of them even if it is for the benefit of their own survival.
You speak of black women loving welfare as if it's the best thing in the world. Yet when able bodied black men get locked up and they are let out they are then locked out of the job market. If they are able to find employment it's not enough to support a family. So either these men rely on making money in the streets or the woman has to start knocking on the white man's door for help in order to survive.
Okay what I'm getting from this video is that you say people are only seeing one side of the issue when it comes to black relationships. But what I'm saying there's more than just a black woman's issues and black man's issues. Here is the only problem I see with your arguments.

Welfare gives you "choices" to make. Making your own money requires "decisions" to be thought upon with reason and logic(something that many BW do not like to do) and then an action executed.

I think that there's a trust issue between black men and black women. I did live with him at one time 7 years ago before we had a son together. At that time He thought he was all that just because he had a place and I didn't. Sometimes his "friends" would tell him to kick me out because they wanted to use his place as a hoe pad but they couldn't do that as long as I was there. They did try many ways to get me out but I stayed. Anyway he lost his place and I got my own place and let him move in with me.
