you're RIGHT! I've seen this a number of times & every time I could clearly see both feet completely off the ground and a few times it was 6 to 8 inches. I thought perhaps magnets are used with like poles repelling each other but you would have to prepare the ground in advance & then go to that exact spot - Magnets can be extremely powerful and can lift cars; so pushing a person off the ground is nothing - It would, however, require amazing balance - the foot on the ground theorie is busted!!!

you're RIGHT! I've seen this a number of times & every time I could clearly see both feet completely off the ground and a few times it was 6 to 8 inches. I thought perhaps magnets are used with like poles repelling each other but you would have to prepare the ground in advance & then go to that exact spot - Magnets can be extremely powerful and can lift cars; so pushing a person off the ground is nothing - It would, however, require amazing balance - the foot on the ground theorie is busted!!!

you guys are all dumb, he films the reactions of the people after he does the levitation u see in this video. The levitation from behind is done with strings. They show the levitation from behind (fake) then go to the reaction of the normal levitation. If u look at the levitation video from behind and look in the backround u see a man walking, then it cuts to audience reaction, then cuts right back and the man has dissapeared.....its editing people.

@03jala03 Actually that is how he does it. It's not how we "think" he does it, it's a well known fact, and David Blaine himself has said it among the magic community. :)
The problem is, it's also a well known fact that he performs this for people, then cuts in videos of the reaction with a clip of him being suspended by wires, so it looks like that's what the audience saw.

I don't get why ppl don't understand that this video is accurate?!?! David Blaine levitates like in this video, the camera man records the audience's exaggerated reactions, the camera man films David levitating with wires with someone blocking the right side of the camera whose clothes are similar to a spectator, then everything is edited together. So stop ur BS COMMENTS.
