dude. the console command dint worked for me, can u tell me why? i tiped bind . "unit_create npc_hunter 2" while playing with the combine and it says in red letters "attemped to create unknow entity type" what should i do? note: i typed sv_cheats 1 too

Oh man. I just realized the potential for this mod when I viewed the video. Brilliant! Perhaps you could implement four different races? Humans, Combine, Antlions (not sure about this one), and Zombies!!!! Humans could be based around rocket-wielding infantry. Combine could have their vehicle support. Zombies have about 3 different zombie types, plus headcrabs. Dunno about antlions though. I think they only have 2 unit types (normal and guardian). I imagine the biggest obstacle is race balance.

In regard to balancing issues, I think that "unit cost" would be the easiest way to do it. Combine would have to be consisting of powerful, expensive, and few vehicles (to avoid strider spam, etc.) Perhaps also a unit cap for the Combine. Humans could have lots of infantry, with the possible addition of vehicles like the hover-boat and car from HL2 original and HL2 E2 respectively. As for the zombies, just make a virtually unlimited unit cap, and make the units dirt cheap to produce!

Right now, it's more of a 'proof of concept' that you can make an RTS using Valve's excellent Source engine. So, the gameplay isn't too deep, there aren't too many features like making bases.
