ooo...tuff...im putting out my head but i personally prefer the g-400...i looks nicer hahaha. but the epis make better les pauls. try both dude and see which ur comfortable wif
man pretty good playing bt i have to say that in smtimes u get out of rythm so it is better to use a metronome or maybe better a drum backing sound..thnx
Good playing I just picked up my standard today... and yes, i like the shorts, I have some just like them.
@axaegrenade101 they look fine to me.. unlike what most dudes wear now are nothing more than baggy capri pants... big long baggy shorts are ghetto and fugly. Baggies are trendy, and sloppy.
hahaha...sorry dude...but hey, i did make an effort on the other vids to only get the upper portions of my body. and i apologise for what u saw. hahaha
o dude...sorry, over-looked the 3 way toggle. like pnkrckr01 said, its the 3 way toggle switch and like MasterMagicians had implied...its to activate, or use, certain pick-ups.
dude i have the same guitar in black and its my favorite and its way mor comfortible then my real one 4 some reason the epis got a way fatter rounder neck more control ...to me some ppl like 50s style more
im really considering buying htis guitar, well a lefty version... flipped with righty strings, im a righty and i hold a right guitar upside down, baiscally i use my left hand to strum and my right hand to finger, so the strings / cutoff are int he opposite manner of a normal players, ( big E on bottom etc.) so i have to flip the strings but i really want this guitarthanks for showing me
say, how would you compare the tone to a Strat? I just got a standard strat, and I get really weak distortion on mild, and have to crank the drive all the way up before I can get a good sustaining note. However, I love the classic tone of this vid, but cant imitate it. Is that just the amp, or what? Great playing, love the blues.
haha, thanks dude. a lotta ppl say its my amp, which i also think is responsible for most of the tone, but i tried my lp on full stack marshalls, laneys and oranges and it's surprisingly good.
for strats, i've tried fenders and squiers and the tone is thinner, tho it'll sound fatter with thicker strings. and i feel that using the rhythm + mid switch is really sweet for blues. as for sustain, i get that problem as well sometimes. to make it last longer, i vibrator the note like crazy haha.

would you recomend the guitar?
roysteinar 3 years ago
hey man...sorry for late reply.
i would honestly recommend a les paul standard epi. that guitar has a better feel and the tone is much better.
but i would say, the lp 100 is more comfortable on the neck, its much smaller. its much lighter and is really value for money.
but if want that real les paul look and touch...go for the standard man.
