Not gonna lie this is the first video of your i have seen. And i thought you were just some unskilled player just teaching a song until you got to the 'tapping part'. your good man
Not do downsize yah or nothing, but maybe u should play it fast, too so we know how it should sound the way u do it so we don't get mad when we don't sound EXACTLY like Tenacious D. Lol but AWESOME video. You never see a vid where you actually get what theyre saying but I got everything you said. Great Vid, bro.
sorry i didnt understand this at all so confusing! keep cool man ^^ next time slower...teaching this in pieces? play through it first slow than on normal speed?
@rocker9288 not my first guitar but it's the nuts the ibanez Gio easy guitar to play it's a fast guitar because the strings are quite close to the fret board you nearly need to touch the strings brilliant sound and it's got a floyd Rose style whammy system on it and it's only around £300
Thanks a bunch for the tutorial, really helpfull, but do you mind telling me your amp settings? Bacause whatever i do, i cant get a good (tapping) sound) if you know what i mean, thanks.
@1234guitarpro Hello I goint to buy the guitar but I don't know what kind of guitar the best. I don'T want to classic guitar so what can I buy and what about your guitar?? PLS HELP me!
@rocker9288 Well if it's your first electric guitar I advise you go with something cheap just to start on. I'd say go for anything less than $500. As for my guitar it's a Epiphone Les Paul Standard and it's alright...I'm going to upgrade soon :P.
@rocker9288 I dont know if you already bought one in the two months this comment has been up, but you should just go to the nearest guitar store and try all guitars and take which one feels and sounds best (;
@rocker9288 well if u have just started buy a fender strat or any guitar of ur choosing for atleast 200 or 300 something u can afford but not to cheap though u want a good guitar tht u can begin with and rely on ur guitar training
@MartianJonn Haha that's unusual. For the 'tapping part' refrain from tapping...if you're uncomfortable with your pinky just use your ring finger instead. Adds mobility.
@scrapmetal89 That's how I did it but it's really not that hard of a song. I should do a fully sped up version but I kinda forget how to play it so I'll have to use my tutorial to re-learn it :P but I've been working on Spanish Fly, Eruption and Little Wing recently so no time :P.
@shaunjcw Yeah cause it's slowed down idiot...learn part by part and put it together and then play it fast. If I would just play it through it wouldn't be a lesson.
@sharrer2 haha well saw you were asking for a lesson so I did a shitty version. I can't teach it...only play it but I tried! Also check out the other version I have on my channel. Helps with the timming/rhythm.
@1234guitarpro You did good! Don't worry bro. Just next time you should play it on your clean channel because of the buzz from the amp. Other than that its good man.
You need patience to explain dude you rush to much

im my opinion any guitarist that is good enough to play this song should be able to easily learn it by ear

@agiotapoker Haha I was gonna say you are my first hater but I just watched your videos and laughed at your trying to play guitar..
1234guitarpro 1 year ago 13
you need to change your pickup to get rid of that buzzing sound.
good tutorial though *thumbs up*
megafeltch 1 year ago
@megafeltch no it's not the pickups...it's my amp. I was on my overdrive channel which automatically gives you buzzing no matter what pickups.
