Use the teaspoon to measure the height of the milk in the cup. Putting all the milk in last will sterilize at least some of the milk if the tea is very hot and changes the flavour. I try to get the right amount in first and err to the light side.
I was born in central london and since a year after that I've been living in America, but everytime i'm in britain to see relatives I feel like i'm...home, where I really belong. This summer I'll be buying some awesome tea at the fortnum and mason store and I can't wait. I'm gonna choose teas I'm gonna buy, but I'm sure i'll change my mind A LOT whenever I see the selection.
@Lord13289 Enjoyed your story! And you know that you can get wonderful quality teas from Upton Tea Imports, LLC in Massachusetts. See their website for information.
Hello, this is Margot from Fortnum's. I am so glad you like our video. We will be uploading many more over the coming months so do come back and visit us again.
@FortnumAndMasonTV Your video was not only quite informative on how to make a good pot of tea, Margo, but how to go about it the right way. Most non-Brtish should take lessions from you and your company on how to make really good British tea.

@Leechmouth I find it is a a personal preference, I use actual cream myself, But I am also fortunate to live near a very nice organic dairy.
