This version of MISL is a sad joke. Not one of the teams could compete in the original MISL. I'm not even sure a handful of these players would even dress sporadically on any original MISL roster. Way back then you had Zungul, Segota, Grgurev, Haaskivi, Tatu, Brian Quinn, Kim Roentved, Stan Terlecki; who are these guys? A bunch of college second-stringers? Thank goodness MLS is the first division of soccer in the US and Canada, if this was it it would be an embarrassing shame.
This is everything I hate about indoor soccer, which has unsuccessfully tried to make itself more popular with hockey-type rules and basketball-type scoring (aren't most 3-point goals goalkeeper mistakes?). Add to that the fact that the talent doesn't equal third division talent in THIS country and the whole thing is just a mess.

Outdoor soccer is so slow and boring with so very little scoring, to appeal to Americans soccer needs to discard the goal keeper... Maybe squeeze the goal posts and net a bit if necessary... Indoor soccer is at least entertaining with enough scoring, with or without basketball scoring... I have no problems with 2 or 3 point goals... And can't understand why soccer allows a goal keeper to use their hands anyway, isn't this supposed to be football?

I totally agree with Blackspider1818, this is an awesome game but they should really bring back the old scoring system, or just have 1s and 2s instead of 2s and 3s...they way they have it now a team scoring less goals can still go on to win a game. It doesn't make sense...

No matter who won or lost, the basketball-point scoring system makes the whole thing a sick joke. The "rocket scientists" who run the league don't get that there was nothing wrong with the game as it started. It's marketing the whole thing to the Romper Room crowd that has been slowly killing this game for the past quarter century.
