is this on the floor of your loft if so how come you didnt build a baseboard nice thx

@pyronathanpyro Yes its on the floor of the loft because it maximises the area of the layout. This is because the roof naturally slopes the higher it gets so if you build it on the floor the bigger the layout you can have !

@jmsschooner I use the Hornby Elite DCC unit. There are better but for the price and features you can't go wrong. If i'm honest i did the track by eye but wish i hadn't been so fussy. Real track isn't as uniform.........

Yes it makes a better sound with the bass speaker ...I also have been bitten with the sound bug, just had 2 converted and puchased a new class 56 from Hornby, along with a class 24 from bachmann

I just bought a class 24 from Bachmann it sounds very realistic ! Have been trying to justify the need for a small army of them Lol !

They are all Bachmann factory fitted but i have now fitted a bass reflex speaker in the fuel tanks on the class 37 to boost sound, was really worth the effort ! I now have 2 class 50's which i will fit SWD sound chips into..........when i stop buying other loco's that is !!!!!!!!
