  • @ivegotthenuts i can wheelie my sport bike but barely wheelie my mountainbike lol

  • RESPECT thats how its done right there people should take notice of this vid and practice like this dude right here AND NOT ON FREE WAYS

  • That shit stretches the hell out of your chain

  • haha thats madd

  • hey i'm trying to do idle wheelies but everytime i let the clutch out the bike just stalls. i usually rev it and give gas but nothing. what am i doing wrong?

  • awesome vid man!

  • Sir, I take my hat off to you.

  • Hi is this a 7r ? ... cuz ive just bought myself a zx7r , thing is its got a slight flat spot at the bottom end bout 0 - 300rpm but i find if i accelerate and dump the clutch i feel the front end start to rise ... what revs are u at when u dump the clutch ?

  • So best way to wheelie is to pull the clutch, then give gas and then release clutch as fast as possible?

  • Comment removed

  • Nice ninja!

  • whats the tire pressure and the reasoning for it?

  • @julingy low tire pressure stabilizes the bike giving more control, dont know what psi they use though

  • keep it real...

  • what psi did u run the rear at?

  • ManTasTic!!! i loved it but im ridin an R6 now...do i need a rear brake on my handle or i should use my foot brake>?

    Please advice buddy:)

  • very good

  • i own an 03 hunda superhawk 996 it is a v-twin bike would anybody have any tips on doing wheelies i am either down on power up top(even though v-twins are for low end torque)or I just suck plus i dont get any actual practise in other than on the ride to work by the way it is a sportbike case anybody doesnt know

  • hey bro i have gsxr750 i,m trying to do wheelie but i cn,t . can you tell me where RPM needs to stay n which gear shud we use? pleae tell me step by step if you can,,,,bcz i,m new rider...thnx

  • @desichober68 I have a gsxr 750. I power wheelie. Bring to 6000 then let off the throttle and let back on real quick. Jerk up on the steering column real quick and the front end should float right up. Nice and easy. Be safe.

  • @SkyDiveDoc22 thnx bro thnx alot....i did try as u said n it,s worked. now i can do but need more prectice.. thnx alot

  • would it be possible to pull it with my cb1? 400 cc??

  • @TheHighHats

sure, i've seen the cb 500 stunted quite well by euro guys.

roll slow in 1st slip the clutch while giving itsome gas then more n more gas to pop it up higher, cover and use the brake.

  • @TheHighHats Change your front sproket. Most stunters have a smaller front sprocket. Changing the back larger is the less preferred way to get morew torque. You might want to lower your airpressure for your back tire as most stunters also have low rear tire pressure. But if you can not wheelie a mountain bike or a dirt bike best learn on them first as switching to a SPORT bike is much more difficult except for the extra power you have.

  • hey how tall and heavy are you im 6 two and 300lbs im getting into stuntin myself

  • bike reminds me of my f2, mine was drag modded; couldnt pull a wheelie on it if i tried.

  • i give you major credit playboy !! you went from learning to ruff ryder - lolol - i saw both videos, amazing progress bro you deserve it.. just dont let your pro-ness go to your head and get killed ya know what im saying ? we dont need anymore sad stories my brother ( always remember shit happens despite what you know ). My brother was ( full blown pro dude ) he's loungin in heaven with Jesus Christ but regardless just be extremely carefull, period.. God bless bro..

  • is your idle turned up, that may help me. and if so how high, and what size sprocket are you running? i may go ahead and bump mine to 50 or maybe up to 55. this hobby isn't cheap brother.

  • i just got my cage and bar and was trying this a few days ago and its not easy. it kept wanting to go side to side on me, and i slammed once. it was in a lot at low speeds. lot rash is not as bad as road rash... lowered my tire pressure even more from 20 to 14 and it's getting better. i'm on a stock sprocket so that isn't helping either. he's advanced a lot since then but vids like this are a big help to those of us who are just starting out. i am going to go change my bandages now... up on one!

  • ill poop in my pant trying to do that and ive been riding a r6 for two year dont fancy eating road, faceplant

  • @veganstar13 get your bike set up (cage 12 bar and a sprocket) and wear a jacket and helmet... then find those things dangeling between the legs, if not grow some. really i'm just kidding don't get pissed, r6 has way weak subframe for stunting anyway. i just tried this for the first time last week in a lot... it went good considering.... i have an f4i which is a tank for the punishment i'm going to put it through this year. we all gotta start somewhere.

  • rear pegs are for girls dude!

  • hey i have a zxr 250 is it powerfull enough to do that?i dont wanna try it incase i break something

  • @bcx1982 any fucking bike can wheelie. er. common sence man. once its up its up. Simple.

  • @bcx1982 look up "reza ss on 250r". that shows it's possible. 600 is by far the best way to go though. i bet he's got a sprocket in the 50's as well. I'm going 55tooth when i get the cash.

  • I don't have the guts to pop my clutch in first gear.

2008 cbr 600 does power wheelies in 1st just fine but I can't do slow wheelies like you however.

You are probably really good now since this video is over 2 years old!

    GJ

  • Hey GJ just start off slow and easy, roll 10-15 mph and slip(pull it in just enough to rev the bike) the clutch, give it some gas gas and quick n smoothly let it out don't dump it. then do it over n over with a little more gas to bring it higher. Clucthing is safer it only comes up as high as the amount of gas you give it.

check out other videos by cjoec911 it's pretty much day 1 to now. keep it on one wheel.

  • @cjoec911 is it bad for your clutch when you slip it like that?

  • @GankedbyDgriffy I got same bike, its too fast for me by the time the front starts lifting! Havn't managed a 'clutch-up' wheelie yet either, too scared :|

  • damn u make dat shit look easy. nice vid

  • Good job bud, you runnin stock sprocks?

  • sweet man cool vid

  • good, but you really should air up your tire

  • the slow steady ones u can see he throttled up smooth all the way to the balance point the others he cut throttle short and had to arm it the rest of the way up which moves ur throttle u can see the slight hesitation..he gettin it though good job

  • is that 1st gear he is using and also throttle control

  • Have you gotten any better at doing the wheelies?

  • a little see video resposes.

  • some what check video responses.

  • keep it up and homie don't be scared to pop it...

  • Looking good!

  • i could see it was gettin a lil better here and there keep it up man

  • His tire pressure is really really low plus the size of his rear sprocket is probably near 54-58 teeth. Which makes riding a wheelie slow.. easier.

  • Listen to Nickolasmb....This guy knows what he's talking about...lmfao

  • what should the tire pressure be for this kind a wheelie and is stck sprockets good enough i have a gsxr 1000 k7

  • Whatever the tire psi is normaly rated on your tires for you bike take about 10 psi out the back tire. If your doing stoppies then take about 10psi out of the front too.But thats just for stunting not daily riding. For sprockets I just stick with my favorite brand (vortex). I don't know much about stck sprockets, sorry.

  • so, how to learn?

  • look at that tire pressure lol he is rolling on a dougnut

  • when slow wheeling do you need ta use the cclutch no matter how soft i rev it always seems ta go to fast or drop cuz of lack of power

  • all about the sprocket :) try get a new -1 +2 sprocket and chain kit and you will keep em up longer and pop them easyer

  • is that your set-up, Ive been thinking about going - +2, but didnt know if it would be annoying at highway speeds...............I just want to make it a little easier to clutch up while not killing the top end

  • then just go -1 in front because -1 is equal to +2 in back , so my setup is like +4 in back

  • do you have a speedohealer too?

  • of course :P

  • if I were you I would go only -1 in the front at first, leave the back stock. you won't scarifice that much top end probably 10-15 kph only. and if after that change u still want a lil' more umphh, change the rear to +2. you will still end up keeping the correct ratio balance after the 2 sprocket changes. cheers!

  • ha thanks man, I may just go with -1 up front, i ride an 05 636 and stock the bike can still wheelie pretty well, but being 6'4" and 200 plus, doesn't make it any easier......i have a vid of want ive been working on with stock gearing

  • U make it look easy

  • what do you have your idle set at?

  • how old is he

  • J4AProductions, Its gunna take a long time for you to learn slow wheelies.. Just start out in first and roll on it let it go down and than roll on it again in first.. Cover your rear brake at all times.. And try to throttle down once you know you are not going to flip backwards so you dont slam your front end..

  • have made some progress.^^video^^

  • Major Progress.........you may have to give them a timeline of your whoolies lol.

  • No, bought them at home depot, but got some ICON field armor now. I know a helmet is over kill too, but with a career and responsibilties i try to avoid injury when I eat shit learning new things. Wore knee, elbows pads and helmet when I used to ride 1/2 pipe. Glad I did.

  • a helmet isnt over kill helmets are great protecting your head and all. but knee and elbow pads are the ones i would call overkill ... great job though

  • easycompany is so dumb nice wheelies keep practicing and stay safe

  • is your throttle body dirty. cuz of the sputtering

  • no ur moms pussys dirty...th th thats why i sputter!!

  • for anymore retards that think the back tire is flat or has no air it makes it easy to wheelie and a easyire balance points

  • Bingo! Lower pressure gives a larger contact surface and steadies the the bike side to side. Now i run about 28 #s and working on circles.

  • Wait did i help you or your pointing that out? and what do you mean by u running 28#?

  • 28# I mean 28 psi for pressure now. Just appreciate you commenting about low pressure in the rear tire, a lot of people comment that it's flat in the begining videos.

  • ok thanks im 15 and gunna get a bike when im 16 and i wanna know how to wheelie so thanks for the psi : )

  • I'm sure you have these PERFECT by now. This video is nearly 2 years old. Stay safe bro.

  • Its easier to wheelie when u release some air from the back wheel. That will create more space to balance on.

  • that back tire looks pretty flat to me

  • keep up the good work man. u r doing good!! practice practice and you'll have it down in no time!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

  • can a heavy bike is easy to wheelie as compare to 70 cc ?

  • as long as power to weight ratio is there you can wheelie anything.

  • learn english... god damn it

  • Hey Everybody,, I used to reference this video for a how to thinking it might be useful. Then I got my CBR 600rr 2007 .. this guy has a larger sprocket in the rear so its much easier to control a slow clutch up like this....... I wont be putting a stunter sprocket on my baby you loose some top end

  • for all u ppl that say they struggle to slip the clutch. i have a rieju rs2 50 (only 16) so i have to slip the clutch to set off safe (bloody 2strokes) but have ridden 600s and if u get revs set then let off clutch and open up a bit more then it will slip easy

dunno if it is still slippin the clutch but does the same thing

ps would stnding weelies or sittin wheelies be easier to lea\rn

  • You definately got it. Like you said, now it's just doing to over and over until you're comfortable with the hight, back break, and throttle. Good luck.

  • ur back tire is flat Cheater gonna bend ur rim with that much whieght on it,

  • Hell yeah you got it bro!!

  • Very nice! I can see the improvement on every wheelie. Be safe bro and enjoy!

  • are u using the clutch?

  • Yes,I always use the clutch. At this point it's learning how much throttle is needed.

  • nice and safe way to learn wheelies ... and safe i mean how slow your going and still bringing it up

  • this summer, i'm starting in on learning this. i just need a couple stats from someone WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.

what sprockets does it take? i just had my sprockets changed to -1 front and +2 in the rear on a 2000 zx6r...and, when you're slippin the clutch, how much do you run up the rpm's? i need some sort of base and i'll make adjustments as needed......

  • i can help, you do have the right sprockets by changing the rear to more teeth that will help get the bike up easy, its always different on every bike for clutching up wheelies so start at lower rpms and move up till the bike gets up the fastest and easiest. start at around 2000 grand and move up till you reach a easy point were you can just ride it out...and always go little at first.

  • lol 2000 grand thats 2 million

  • yes it is ! my mistake thats kinda funny.

  • You don't need to change sprockets to rock BP. It actually makes it harder as the throttle is more choppy. Any 600+cc bike built in the last 20 years can get up, but any fuel injected bike will be able to rock BP. The only reason the pro guys change sprockets it to get even slower than a standard Idle.

Another tip: bring you idle up a bit, to about 2000rpm or so, will make it easier while learning.

  • Looks good man, im just learning wheelies myself so im not gonna say anything out of my own realm, but the fact you got that clutch down is a mountain climbed on its own, im still powering having trouble slipping correctly, good efforts here though for sure.

  • nice job man keep on practicing and you will be able to do them for a loooong time.

i try to wheelie but always seem to put it down close to the BP. i always get the feeling that imma go over backwards

  • Comment removed

  • you cant even pick it up beyond 5 to 6 inches off the ground on your videos and your criticizing that someone doesn't reach a BP? You're acting like you actually know a lot of tricks and shit when in reality you made a video of just a walk around on a bike of which you can find many pictures online.

  • great job.. you're doing awesome on those slow wheelies!!!! checked out some of your other vids.. you progressed really good.. dont ever give up bud.. soon enough you'll be doin no hander :)

    cheers :)

  • good move on taking of ure farings. most noobs dont.

  • what gear are you in? I've been riding since I was 16 and am thinkin about tryin some wheelies on a stunt bike

  • Everything is done in 1st gear.

  • fairplay well done

  • fuck why do people comment on video's when they clearly dont know shit about what they are talking about... why would you put this down anD "lmao" or say "you burned out you clutch .... its called practic you retards and its called a wet clutch designed to be sliped i know because ive sliped mine about 700 ffn times doinng wheelies and only replaced it once ....to all you fags who say bad comments about this i bet you cant eavn so a wheelie on you little sisters 5O LOOSERS!!!!!!!!!

  • and this is exactly why we put 20-50 in our bikes fully synthetic :).

  • so i run 20-40 full synthetic if i start doin this i should run 20-50

  • well put..... only 700 times and already a new clutch? JK....... i'm just broke, thats why mine isnt replaced yet.

  • Thats awesome, keep it up

  • lol people on my road HATE me for doin shit like this hahaha

  • wanna learn how to read or something and see the "learning" word in title? its good stuff.

where is this? and if u wanna wheelie really slow like circles i think u need a second balance point, back peg or custom handle grip?

  • Check out all the pro wheelies on his channel. LMFAO

  • YOUR A PINHEAD!

  • stivefox dont be retarded

  • sweet bike, sweet skills :)

  • Dude, whats your back tire PSI at?

  • Very good man, i know how nerves get to yeah there. Its tough but ur doing like really well, keep it up man.

  • Dammm , your gonna be a wheelie monster very soon ....

  • I bet u smelt ur clutch ^^

  • wow not bad! Your first time you did this?

  • man thats cool.. i wish i could do shit like that. ay buut all the guys i see doin slow wheelies have alot bigger rear sprocket then yours? that might help. but cool shit man

  • 99' ZX6R?

  • u can tell your afraind by the ways ur movments r

  • Use your next gear and lower your rev and keep your balance. And you will go slower and in a longer distance

  • nice you have good start

  • pretty good but u just burnt the fuk outta ur clutch

  • It was slippin pretty bad back then. The 99 has been retired.

  • try to straighten your staggered foot out it will help you get the bike up higher in turn slowing your wheelies down good luck

  • nice... but you got some really hard landings... ease off the throttle like in :26 :)

  • i cant do slow wheelies for shit..the front wheel starts comin down and i gun it lol

  • I gotta find a nice area to practice. I gotta fz6. Just dont seem like it wants to stand up. lol

  • Nice... looks good. Keep it up.

  • to---primar 21_____ shift is mutch easyer than the way he makes it!!!!!!you dont now anything!!!!!if you say "afraid to shift"

  • is this for wheel????????? hpfffnnn!!!!!

  • where da fuck this nigga live? Nabraska?

  • can i do that?

  • what's your psi set at?

  • afraid to shift?

  • No, the goal is to go slow and ride off of idle with minimal inputs.

  • shifting while in a wheelie is down right dangerous. If you can't wheelie in a certain gear, then you should practice some more. most any stock sportbikes can wheelie to 4th gear. anyways, slow wheelies take more coordination then high speed ones. good vid once again

  • agreed... on dirt its not hard to shift on a wheelie because u dont NEED to use ur clutch to shift because of the rear wheel slip on dirt... but on street, u have no slip on the back wheel so u need to use clutch otherwise u burn ur tranny up very fast... and i dont even have slow wheelies down yet. i can do them but not consistantly

  • NO CLUTCH! thats death. just shift right after you let off the throttle

  • ok PERFECT EXAMPLE of how to cut a video...leave out all the crap lol cool vid man...keep it up (no pun intended)

  • yeah man, my only advice is to stand it up more vertically and balance with brakes instead of on and off the gas

  • does wheelin w/out the brake take more practice??

hell, even when i use the brake, i tap it 2 hard. It looks so easy, but i have much 2 learn.

    laterrrrr

  • @mooncheese100 - yea but then u show adjustments & timing not balance - lol -

  • way to go man..keep it up!

  • nice job but dont be putting the front end down so hard, thats how the frame gets cracked. but good start!

  • Nice work and a good place to practice. I see this video was added a while ago so if you live someplace that don't have real cold winters you probably got it down by now. good luck.

  • NICE! Looks like you've got a real good start! I'm determined to learn slow wheelies this summer.

  • Wish more people put in proper practice sessions like this. GJ

    Have you tried staggered?

And... If you haven't added to your technique already, stand up straight all the way. Your legs being bent puts a lot of weight to your hands.

Hope to see more of yours soon!

  • nice job

  • You Suck! :-) Justin C.
