Great, protect rental stock. What about INCREASING rental stock! The city can do this. Only rental housing on present city owned property allowed! The city can build housing in COMPETITION with present developers who will NOT develop for the ordinary working people. Sounds like there is not much difference between Al and Gregor again! I like Gregor's idea of taxing the speculators however...how to do? Advocate elimination of capital gains exemption? vote COPE!
