I was 13 when my parents got divorced. With 3 brothers who were 16, 15, and 8 at the time. I remember when they first told us, my oldest brother was the most upset. He said that he knew a bunch of kids whose parents got divorced at age 8 and 9 like my brother Tommy. It's two years later and Tommy's got in 3 fights, and is failing out of the 5th grade. High school is a great time in your life. Don't be scared. I went through it and I loved it. You just gotta decide you want to be happy and let nothing stand in your way. College seems to be working out pretty much the same way. Growing up sucks, but change is healthy. Don't be afraid embrace it. I was terrified to go to college but now I am excited to start my life teaching high schoolers in a few years. The end is always just a new and better beginning.

nobody ever wants to grow up because we still want to do what we want to do but someday every body has to grow up and every body remembers how easy it was when you were 5 and 6 now im about to be 17 and im glad i grew up some it seems scary at first but it gets easier as you go people make mistakes just try and remember that when u learn from ur mistakes you grow up a lil at a time.

This reminds me of my brothers and I when we were yonger. when it was really rough on us, but we were always there for each other. so this song helps me think of the memories that we had together. but now they r in college which makes me sad and everytime i hear this song and remember the memories i cry. because me brothers were so caring, helpful, and the best.
