@AbandonedMind Yeah but this year its dynamic weather and live the life. next year maybe they will add all the steering wheels and the safety car and improved handling if it needs it. but what will they do after that. they might be coming out all guns blazing for the first game which might be a bad idea in the long run because they might run out ideas. they might be forced to make a bad game to be able to make it better the next year. I'd be surprised if developers haven't done that in the past

@polo424242 I heard they were thinking about putting feeder series' into this game, but didn't because it would take too much time, so maybe next year they will! I can't wait either way, this will probably be the best racing game in years!

@motoracinerd Yeah one of the producers said that they will add more onto the game every year, not just the normal changes like teams, cars and drivers etc. Codemasters has the license to F1 till 2011 with an option for 2012. It's an exciting time to be a f1 fan.

@AbandonedMind Or maybe they're giving themselves something to work on for the next title. next year they can accuratley recreate all steering wheels. I say this because i always wonder how far you can go when it comes to creating games and whether companies diliberatley make games a bit bad to give themselves something to work on for the next years title. games like fifa puzzle me because there's only so much that you can do for a fottie game yet it comes out each year.

@polo424242 its because there are actions animated for the steering wheel so they had to use the same basic design for each wheel. the actions are gear changes and changing the position of dials for different engine settings..! EXCITING!!

I think this whole "Live the life of the driver" aspect is interesting, but in my mind, there's no doubt that Rubens is the only person to play as. Anyone who remembers his comments after Germany '09 will know this. ;) Are they using a voice track or do you select from a list of options or what?

Also, I wonder why Multiplayer isn't mentioned in any of these dev diaries?

the sterring wheels are all the same.  they dont look like the real f1 steerin wheels for each individual car. will this change??

@trisnoon Yes they will change it. they are like that just for to show us some us some of the technicals sides of the title. When the full game is released later this year, everything from the 2010 season will be accuratly recreated from car liveries to steering wheels. I can't wait personally but the thing that worries me is that if this game is really good, how will they improve on it for next years edition and the year after? there's limits to what you can do with consols

I still feel with the differentiating assists and the way the weather will affect game it will still give it that realism feel.... Fingers all crossed but from what I can gather so far I want to kill Codemasters so I can have this game immediately.... Soo long since an F1 game roll on September
