  • I would have never heard this without the walking dead:)

  • Song's pretty much a note for note ripoff of 'Red Right Hand'. I'm fine if they've acknowledged it and it's sort of an homage or whatever but if this is their actual ethos then they suck

  • thumbs up if you used a sound finder on your mobile phone! :D

  • those drums..and bass at the begging...EAR-GASM!!! e.o

  • finally i found it! driving me crazy trying to find this song from the walking dead :P

  • The Walking Dead...

  • Nice

  • Finally!

  • This is an awesome song, first heard this on the Walking Dead promo.

  • Creepy as hell!! lol I'm seriously freaked, great song though. Took me forever to find.

  • Me encanta the walking dead alguien me podria decir cunado empieza la segunda temporada?

  • I think I've figured out the missing words at the ????.

And the sweat and the stains of the insect bites and

Feel a glow like the flow on a burning ground

    Yes/No?

  • @Nephrie That makes sense, could be.

  • @Nephrie

I believe the first one is correct " of the sweat and the stain of insect bites" although I don't believe it is the plural stains, but singular stain.

The next bit I think its "feel the glow like the glow on a burning / blackened ground." Can't tell I hear both burning and blackened depending on the relisten.. yah it weird.. :\

  • @Nephrie the lyrics are

and the stain of the insect bites

like a blow on the burning ground

they were a good band when they were still going and amazing to watch live, shame it had to end

    hope that helps :)

  • oh god i'm freaked out

  • I could not find the title of this song either, but then I put lyrics into google and it popped up immediately. You can do that with great songs, that actually have lyrics, but those popular hip hop songs that have all the same lyrics in style of "fuc* me, I am hot, cool, kill" etc, you cannot find like this, there would be like about one million songs to choose between.

  • Mr. Splitfoot was the name of the "Spirit Guide" that teenage mediums Kate and Margaret Fox said they got their messages from. Sometime back in the 1840s. At least that's what I read.

  • I discovered this song thanks to the Walking Dead promo...man, it took me a while.

  • @Spammysarceno03 when people stop giving a shit about meaning in lyrics, people like Justin bieber, and wakka flocka become huge superstars.

  • yeaaahh....xD

  • Reading over my comment 4 months ago, I realize now I worded that question like a douchebag. When I was asking whether anyone else knew the story behind Mr. Splitfoot, I was just curious as to whether the story was a well known one or not.

  • I wonder if Mr. Splitfoot is some kind of metaphor. Like personal insanity, or a drug-addiction or something like that.

  • Good music to kill and be eaten by.

  • song at the beginning

    paris motel- mr splitfoot

  • @fetyr if people are reading the comments to this video, surely they would know that

  • brilliant song, what was the other song on the trailer of walking dead?

  • that song is very good but it is unknown

  • well if you listen to the song you'll get what mr splitfoot means....basically some kind of monster who'll eat you

  • anyone got a torrent link for this song?

  • Mr. Splitfoot: as in cloven hooved? Satan maybe? In any case, he's not nice.

  • Mr Splitfoot is a poltergeist, a spirit, according to a website.

  • i dont care about meanings behind songs. i dont think anyone really cares. watched a trailer, heard a song, youtubed, favorited.

  • what about a fluorescent cat?

  • only one dislike.

    one. stupid. troll.

  • @shellbellmel Just because someone doesn't like a song doesn't mean they're a troll. Maybe a friend recommended it to them, and they weren't impressed.

  • @supermax1998 its possible, i personally just leave if im not impressed

  • love this

  • W000T founf the song

  • Beast song, and sexy as fuck.

  • I was waiting for a troll to dislike this. About damn time.

  • Although this song is competently produced, it copies a staggering number of elements from Nick Cave and the Bad Seed's Red Right Hand (an excellent song, for those unfamiliar). Everything from the mood, to the chord sequences, the vocal melodies, the lyrical theme, the organ melodies, and the musical interlude, is a near-perfect copy. If I were them, I'd be ashamed of stealing another artist's ideas and passing them off as my own.

  • The Walking Dead.

  • this is an ok song, but the walking dead trailer makes it sound WAYYYYYYY better

  • Mr. Splitfoot, much like Old Nick or Old Scratch, may also be reference to the Devil as Satan is often depicted as having a cloven or split hoove or foot.

  • Holy shit this is good.

  • i'm here becous of the walking dead promo :) fucking awsom song

  • @just4fisherman: Me too.

  • the lyrics are perfect for TWD, so creepy and such. LOVE.

  • Where did you get the pics??????

  • sounds like ludella black

  • Ya I just downloaded this mp3 at soundnabber..com

  • Thank you so much for adding this on youtube!

  • Although it's basically a cheep ripoff of Nick Cave's "Red Right Hand", I must admit it still sounds kind of cool.

  • Mr. Splitfoot was visited by many people like Harry Houdini and P.t. Barnum. before Mr. Splitfoot no one knew ghosts could communicate inside homes. the fox sisters were the ones who named him and were the first to hear him in the house. they are still considered the mothers of spiritualism, because after people were more interested in stuff like ouija boards and séances. mediums were hired to communicate with household ghosts. and its been like this ever since.

  • this family in new york started hearing noises. the little girls used to get whatever was making the noises to imitate their clapping with knocks on walls and doors. the mother asked whoever was knocking to tell the ages of all 6 of her kids. it went through each childs age perfectly all in order, then continued to knock a seventh. it was the child in the family who had died at the age of 3. people across america came to hear noises from the ghost the family called Mr. Splitfoot.

  • i'm listening because i like how it sounds. But inlight (i´m not shure this word exists xD) us please!

  • does anyone know the whole story behind Mr. Splitfoot? or are you listening to this because its just another song this band put out.

  • @yackon4game

Nope,i found it on video for Walking dead trailer. If you know the story behind it,do tell. :))

  • @yackon4game

Must it be either? Can't it just be because the song sounds really good? I haven't really heard of Paris Motel before, and I enjoy the sound of this. I realize that when an artist creates something that they're proud of, you should enjoy and consume everything about it, including the lyrics and possible meanings behind it, and I'm sure that's what you're getting at here, but being so radical is just ridiculous. Also, it would be nice if you shared the story! It sounds interesting.

  • @MrFoxInc i wasn't being radical i was just asking. whether you are watching for a song to go with a cool story, or looking for more content by the band doesn't make much difference to me i was just curious.

  • @yackon4game

I believe its the story about prostitutes and their experience so to speak read in between the lines of the lyrics and it makes sense.

  • @Zennium lol oh yea now that you mention it...

  • @yackon4game stfu you idiot -

  • @VoteNuclearFritzl alright, why?

  • @yackon4game had to do with a ghost, communicated by tapping...something like that

  • @yackon4game i hear something about a spirit, and that creepy shit about ghost. can you believe that shit?

  • @yackon4game I've been doing a little bit of research on the internet because of this question in this video, and also because I was curious. Mr. Splitfoot is a spirit which comunicated with two teenagers in the year 1848, answering their questions using knocks and noises during the night.

  • @yackon4game who gives a shit either way? i think people put too much supposed "meaning" behind everything they do.. why does everything have to have a fuckin purpose.. maybe, (just perhaps) someone is just listening to listen.. who would of thought someone does something with no real purpose... just to do it... hmmmm new concept? i think not. ... oh and BTW i dont care about the story either..

  • @yackon4game mr splitfoot is a referance by the fox sisters in 1848 that they communicated with the devil [ mr splitfoot ] in thier cabin at hydesville ny,

  • Hellz Yea!!! The Walking Dead Song=)

  • 0:09 ---> FUCK YEAH GIRL'S ORGASM

  • Finally I discovered the title of this song!!!!

  • @Bafomettto yeahh me too hah of the serie "the walking dead"
