I guess if you have a buttload of poster, sticky tack will work wonders.

But I only have a couple, so I bought the simplest poster frames for mine.

They're simple, so it doesn't take attention away from the poster, but they're very protective.

Sad news though, I have two posters that are super oddly shaped, which is impossible to fit in normal sized poster frames.

I have yet to find poster frames for Infinite and Kim Hyun Joong.

I always use drawing pins. Tack in the UK leaves stains for sure and when the heating is on for weeks at a time it melts and your posters end up in a heap on the floor. Not good.

I was wondering if it's natural for posters to have creases after using the sticky tack?

Because from experience I put sticky tack on all the corners of the poster and then posting the poster onto the wall by, pressing down on all the corners firmly. I was wondering if that is natural to get creases of where the stick tack are?

About flattening the posters, honestly I never flatten them before I tack them to my wall. But flattening them first sounds like a good idea, so if they still fall down, try and flatten the poster by putting 4 harcover books on top of the four corners on the poster. Then when its flat, put it back on your wall. :) And about the oil stains, you can go look at my poster collection to see if there are stains. But I haven't noticed any. Maybe it's the brand of tack I use... >.<

@SqwishyDumpling Put something heavy on each corner and leave it on a flat surface to flatten out for a day or so, and then it should be flatter. Also, rolling it the other way can help, though you gotta be careful when doing that not to bend it.

@SqwishyDumpling one of the way is, if your poster is warp inwards, turn your poster other side and put it on the floor or table or anywhere u find space and use some weight on top of the poster and leave it for about few hours and i think it will be flat

@SqwishyDumpling When you get it, roll it in the opposite direction. It may be hard at first, just go slow so you don't make any weird bumps. Then put rubber bands over it, and leave it over night! :D That's what my mom said.

@SqwishyDumpling one way is turn your poster oppsite, that means your poster in the oppsite direction of your roll direction. leave it flat and use something heavy and put on top of it and leave it for about 3-4hr should flatten your poster with no damage

of days or weeks so I have to be taken them down

I would personally not suggest blue tac. I used it at first, and it left all my SNSD posters with noticable oil stains. On top of that, they do have the tendency to fall. A lot of mine have a lot of creased and even some tears from falling. Keep in mind I also used A LOT of the stuff. Plus mine also sagged a bit. Then I tried pinning them up, which worked up until the climate changed then all my posters drooped like no other. So my poor posters were left with oil stains and holes :(

Sticktac/blutac works perfect, but it leaves some permanent oil stains unfortunately, and that alone makes me not use them ever. Some suggested to frame + do that, or just use white tac which apparently does not leave the oil stains

@sweetloveEK Actually b4 u stick up on the wall and before u apply the bluetack, try to warp the poster with some transparent warping paper or best still if u wan to keep it in shape, u can use some thin sorfboard, but bewarn that if your board is too heavy, it will not last on the wall for long. By warp it with transparent warping paper not only can it protect from the oil stain, it can also protect it from dust which will allow u to keep its quality for sometime

Sticky-tack is a MUCH better than tape when ur sticking up posters and things, I once used tape and it leaves not a pretty result to the both the wall and the poster itself.

I always use Blu-tac. I don't know if it's the same as sticky tack, but I've never seen sticky tack where I live. My posters have fallen off a couple times but I'll just press them back up really firmly and they're fine. I notice they tend to fall/peel a bit when there's a bit change in temperature.
