  • Jools Holland on the piano!!! (;

  • This is the one.

  • Enjoying this one since the underground punk clubs of the late 70s

    CLASSIC

  • When you find out your recent ex is a faggot....

  • Have the original - what kind of radio edit would have been possible? Great sperm coloured vinyl on the 45.

  • Underground punk claasic. Could have been huge if there was a radio edit.

  • the best break up song ever

  • if women would only get the message

  • just brilliant only Jayne could nail this perfectly

  • i would fall in love with someone who played this on the first date haha

  • @ONEpissedPU

  • Perfect!

  • fuck off baby

  • GRRRREAT song for Church choir!!! \m/\m/

  • that's where I always sang it...morning after:)

  • In my opinion, Sinatra sang the best cover version of this

  • Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You" can't hold a candle to this ground breaking single..

  • who wants to buy my near mint 7" 45rpm copy of this single ? - amazing dynamics in the vinyl

  • @rolg3 somehow, I don't think "amazing dynamics" was ever the attraction of this record

  • my all time favorite song from then to now to forever...

  • @ReWandWho All time title, at least.

  • Finally this is the song I can understand all words easily !!

  • ah man hahahaahhah

  • CLASSIC

  • Yes Jools Holland, a progenitor of good music, knew waht he was doing

  • Ah The Perfect song about how I feel right now about someone.... lol

  • Jerry Reed should have done this song instead of "She's Got The Gold Mine, I Got The Shaft" Lol

  • played this one night when i was 16 my mum heard the begining piano and guitar and said to me to leave that good blues song on , when she heard the lyrics she screamed at me to never play it again, im 48 now and i play it loud.

you ain't nuthin but a cold turd

  • "in other words, if you aint got time to take a walk with me on my meat rack, then you can just get the hell out of my bread line" awesome........

  • @hottypunk1 One of the best breakdowns on a song, and so cool following the other sections.

It was shocking to hear it in on first release, shortly after "God save the Queen, she ain't no human being". Could people really say stuff like that on a record?!

  • for midlife crisiss

  • @rog000 Oi Oi Oi

  • 1 of my favourites from my early punk daze, tricky dicky hail, hail

  • Absofuckinglutely brilliant. My all time favourite blues number. Used to play this to death, still know the lyrics and sang along faultlessly after 30 odd years. Damn that's a fucking hot as shit song, gotta have another listen! Peace to ya all :-)

  • No 2 ways about it, when I heard this back in 78 I could understand why it wasn't being played on the radio!

  • Sorry but i find this song blatantly offensive!!!!!

  • Never heard this before great song. Think i'll play it too the wife. :)

  • mike- yes it's perfectly true- it's in Jools's autobiography. It was his first recording session, and the lyrics had not yet been recorded. When he was given the acetate, he put it on in front of his proud parents and grandparents, not realising what they were about to hear!

  • When this came out as a single, a mate bought a copy for all his family members for xmas....

    which went down well.

  • ya baby fuck off !!!

  • yeah, he was a real punk back in the day, and was close to all the dolls and bands like that.

they all used to hang around london together, and he played on quite a few tracks from those older, really cool glam/punk bands of the day

  • What's the option on the video that says 480p and 360p?

  • its how high you want the resolution.

if you have a slower net connection, pick the lower res, and it will buffer faster, but have less pixels, and so will be more blurry.

the higher the resolution, the clearer the picture. as long as your connection is keeping up, keep the higher setting

  • I don't know, but I sincerely hope it is

  • Superb, cheers for this

  • Memories of Southend on Sea.

    Heart searching lyrics.

  • Saw them at the County Ground in Northampton @ 1979. One of them was wearing a Nazi uniform, but I can't remember who (it wasn't Wayne, as he was Jayne by then).

They got drowned in gob - partly for the uniform but mostly just for the badness of it - and went off stage in a huff. Came back on after a while... and got drowned again. Happy days. :)

  • when wayne and company hit the stage at the reading rock festival in 1977 with this song the crowd went crazy and proceeded to rain mud, beer cans and anything else they could get their hands until the band quit playing...the only thing that quelled the mob was the fact that the doobie bros equipment was on the stage and wouldn't play if their stuff was ruined...it was great...
