@colwest21 think so there was a lot of talk about the delay being about that at the time but it could have been other things. little films like this dont generally get wide releases till its inital roll out proves that it will do well.

@colwest21 i think the subject matter holds this film back. it's one of my all time favorites but no one wants to watch a movie about sickies and dead kids and shit. If it were up to Ed in this movie it would not have ended the way it did...it would have ended better! Amanda wouldn't be with her irresponsible pathetic excuse for a mother, ugh the end made me so mad yet it was still so powerful and moving! I still love the movie, just not the end but I get what the message was so it works, just sucks.
