Yeah, there are politics in dancing (we were once dropped from championship semifinals partly because of them), but the fact that you can't believe in true strength of dancing makes me really feel sorry for you. Politics never win against good dancing if the judge is a professional judge, period. There is always a point in dancing when politics can't get you past a couple. And still, majority of professional teachers and judges have their integrity left.

(Proffesional) judges may have theire opinion, but that still doesnt mean you have to agree with them. Their opinions doesnt make the quality of dancing facts. They only make the results (facts.)

It's not just an opinion of "chicker or the egg", it's actually based on something. Results are facts, as you said. World championships define the best dancer in the world at that day. Stefano won jive, hence he was the best at jive that day.

Some judge likes Michael Wentink, I don't like him even if he tells me to like him for numerous of reasons (average body rhythm, godawful music choises in shows, no contact with the floor etc.). Those are facts which all professionals and dancers with analytical skills can see and understand, but I guess you don't belong to that group. You think it's all about "I like yellow and not green". I really, really feel sorry for you. Good luck with whatever dancing career you will or won't have.
