the band directors don't subscribe to BOA philosophies. And every show I've ever seen from a BOA band is sooooo boring. Don't even start with the cheezy. You want cheezy? Putting giant props on the field for no reason is cheezy.

A good amount of BOA bands don't have props or don't have a LOT of props. I have been to the Indy Nationals many times and most of the directors of those bands put a lot of time and Effort into Technique and quality of sound and not really the fun of the show like LHS does.

I loved this show! I always wanted to see a band pull something like this off. The Carlson's are amazing. But my favorite shows of all time are Exotic Adventures, Zorro, and Superhero :D

ya know, most people start to run out of themes for shows and a lot start becoming music with movements, but this really holds a story throughout, which I like it when shows do that. I got to see you guys at the metrodome, imo the funnest show there, although I do think rosemounts show was ridiculously clean and technically I think they did deserve first, your show was definitely a lot more of a show and an enjoyment to watch. So great job

well keep in mind this show was one of our least clean shows as far as competitions go, the metrodome performance was much better at finals

We recorded a performance of us last weekend and we'll be selling it as a DVD. I'll probably post that on here if our director doesn't have a problem with that. I'm really looking forward to St. Louis, too. I think we've really polished the show enough to make finals!

The concept of "The Heist" is that someone stole the sweepstakes trophy. Throughout the show, the colorguard has a case that is revealed to have nothing in it, and at the end of the show, a member in an old LHS band uniform runs off the field with the trophy.

@jErRyIII15 Its meant to be a fake competition. We're mocking the judges up on the podeum. What we do is start the competition then the trophy goes missing. and we find the trophy later. (im a student @ lhs hehe) Tell me if that clears it up
