Ceballos' blindfolded dunk was the standard for future gimmick dunks, but I'm not buying it. Ceballos' dunk from the 1992 contest isn't an embarrassing moment as much as it is just a bad dunk.
There is no way he ran the length of the court in a straight line and found the rim without being able to see. Try running blindfolded 20 yards down your street toward a target and see if you keep a straight line. I doubt it, and I'm not convinced about Ceballos.

he couldnt see. he practiced that dunk a billion times. he'd have to know when to time his steps. and he knew that the pad was there and put his arms on it to slow down only because he knew there HAD to be a pad there. isnt there a pad under every nba hoop?
